    I don’t remember specifics???

May have been do to increased ambient load from cold snap w/not enough backup designed into system orig???

My dad used to design power substations and that was part of the equation.

Just read that Wisc is approving rebuilding their power grid w/intent of building up their ev stations.

So, as always, those w/o the ev’s pay for those who do.

Pull the government support and let the free market figure it out.

It already is w/Ford dropping production of the their ev’s due to poor sales.

Their ev trucks are built by a buddy in Ky and he he says it’s so bad that they stopped construction of a battery plant and they leased the parking lot if the closed Kentucky Speedway to store their unsold elec trucks!

Strangely this doesn’t make the news due to the lefts/medias marching orders!

    Fk off!

The problem is not the changing station ... it's the whole EV concept.

If you Gretta Thornburg wanna-be's .. could see that, you'd have answered my question on how society would look today .. if the empty suits banned gasoline on
1-1- 2024. All I got from everyone of you global warming tree huggers is ... crickets

Speaking of the ozone layer ... amazing that the golf carts won't charge because it's too *******cold ...

Even if the grid is on, and could handle the load, lithium batterys don't work very good in cold weather. Dishcharge rate is seriously reduced. In the model rc world, battery warmers are utilized. When I run batterys under 50°f they hit the low voltage shut off instantly. Better put that ev in the garage.
Then you have the other side of the spectrum, too hot makes em puffy, and degrades lifespan, about 150° and your doing damage, 200°+ and a fire extinguisher probably won't help. Better not leave that ev parked out in the sun!
Oy yeah don't get em wet either.

Heard a little blurb about nuclear batterys someone was working on the other day. Supposedly for small electronic devices, phones etc, and dont need charging for 10 or 20 years. Maybe that will pan out,.... If they can keep people from getting radiation poisoning?

I totally agree our present Batteries

    SUCK

    But don't WORRY Grasshopper

MUCH BETTER CHIT is on the way

It's very bad Psychology to set a date for no more sales of gas chit.

Doing that is such a bad idea. Hopefully, that will change.

Biggest factory, so what, how about a new factory to build something special in new design,

So many new battery breakthroughs are touted, now which one will be able to scale up to produce millions of cars. ?

    Every year

2025 will be the start of REALLY new chit coming to the market, but it will take MUCH longer to become commonplace.

Once 500 to 700-mile range becomes common, 85% will charge at home.

Between new battery designs and recent breakthroughs in solar panels,

    We will become self-sufficient,

I find it humorous that many are scared of solar energy; really, are you scared of FREE energy?

Here in Florida, the power companies can't build Solar farms fast enough,

and with recent breakthroughs in solar panels,

Perovskites and organic semiconductors, the change will speed up greatly

Once again we need the new batteries for solar to work,

This factory shall create batteries for all Tesla cars and trucks as well as the $25K entry-level Tesla EVs ( and will also provide batteries for General Motors and Ford EVs )

Nothing new; we need new, better Ideas to come to market for multiple reasons...

The video above is just more ... if my aunt was my uncle BS

Just wait , the new plant will produce .. XXX

The new tech will break thru ... any day now

Only an idiot ... still believes that BS ...

Here is what the dim's really want ... China based **** box's built in Mexico.
Just think of how great it will be ..
Every single transportation dollar will be leaving the United States for Communist China and Mexico. What will we get for our money, tin cans that barely run and when they do .. they do it for short distances at a time. Of course we get to keep all the poison battery's to sit in our junk yards and pollute our water supply when their short life is over. Pretty pathetic that we have moron's in this country that think this is a good idea.

Still no takers .. on how our society would look if the empty suits outlawed gasoline on 1 - 1 - 2024 .. ????

I'll bet you JAC off's can't wait to take delivery of your new JAC wagon ..

Why do you think we need "new, better ideas" to come to market?
Climate change is a hoax, there's no shortage of gas or oil... we literally can just keep driving and flying and riding what we have; for another couple centuries.
