The fallacy of saying oil is subsidised means you are forgetting the tax revenue they collect from the product.
Most western economies couldnt survive without it.

It will probably be an annual registration fee/tax based on the weight of the vehicle and miles driven. It will be a nightmare for everyone.

    Speaking of Morons...

They only purchased 35,000 Teslas, 15,000 other EVs in total,

It was not repair bills; it was accident repairs, so you are renting out some of the fastest cars made, that has many

Idiosyncrasies, and just give someone the keys with no knowledge; here you go, good luck...

"The instigating factor seems to have been repair costs for rideshare EVs, which were much higher than expected. This is not maintenance costs, which Hertz notes are lower than ICE vehicles, but rather collision repair costs. According to Johann Rawlinson, Hertz VP of Investor Relations, "Collision and damage repairs on an EV can often run about twice that associated with a comparable combustion engine vehicle."

Tesla started a price war that crashed the price of every single used car; my brother was just selling his six-year-old and lost a lot of value because of the radical price changes.

Thanks for making my point for me .. ICE keeps going and going .. the energizer battery golf carts .. not so much ... look above to see what it costs to replace the little bunny. Just crush the golf cart from the beginning .. worthless junk.

It can save up to 3900kg of fuel per 100 nautical miles and do about 300 after which it is hooked up to coal powered plants

Well you could say they try, so did we but unfortunatly the city counsel was suppose to install hydrogen fueling stations!
They still have to be build

Save the planet, don't buy chinese ****

That whole charging with coal argument doesn't hold water because that coal powerplant still puts out a lot less emissions charging the batteries than running diesel in the boat. Especially since the powerplant is also simultaneously powering the rest of the community and would be running even if not charging the boat. So, emissions are still way down compared to running the boat on diesel and still running the coal powerplant.

I'd rather be competitive w/junk I built in my garage than win w/stuff I bought.

I refuse to allow common sense to interfere w/my boat buying decisions.
