Ran those flat slide lectron carbs 30+ years ago on pro stock sleds. They were so much more responsive the a standard round mikuni. Thing sound wicked.

For an SUV those are solid numbers, and try taking an SUV with any female more than 300 miles without having to stop anyways lol. Its a solid car, at some point the boomers are gonna have to admit it.
Great for people who don't leave town like I said. I just drove from the house in FL. to the house in LOTO "two diesel trucks with two boats in tow" 1240 miles in 18 hours. Thats what leaving town means. I will be in Michigan at the house there later this week "750 miles". As far as putting 10K on a vehicle annually? We have 11 cars and trucks in our fleet so they get divided up and my 22' truck still has 60 on it already. My 24 will have 6K on by the end of next week. Maybe I am that different but I don't think so-we do stuff.

Exactly. Your scale is very different to the average consumer. Most families have one or two vehicles MAX, where every dollar counts. The Model Y was never made for someone in your position, but to most Americans it's well worth the savings, especially if you have a good solar setup. The physics of towing will always make EVs a non starter for boat owners, even the cybertruck. Range is cut in half with any lind of real load, and even moreso in the cold. We are talking about how practical it is for everyone, meaning MOST cases without inserting someone's personal situation or political opinion. This thread is so old and messed up now that people don't even realize Elon isnt even a liberal. I hope to get to the point where 310 miles is "in town" to me, and if you think anyone is gonna be forced to buy or be given a vehicle in America by law and not be expected to walk with their bootstraps even if they don't have legs, I don't know what country you've been living in. Sleepy Joe may lie and say he wants to give people things, but saying and doing are two very different things. To fear something like that, he'd have to actually have power to get anything done at all. It's not like there's gonna be a majority in congress anytime soon, and especially not on that issue. Until then, the conversation on EVs should be about it being a practical choice or not. Period.

Joe, just finished 2 wks of playing/driving.

Didn’t tow anything this time so an ev trip?

    Day 1: 900 mls in 14 hrs.
    (w/2 dogs)

    Day 4: 650 mls in 10 hrs.

    Day 7: 550 mls in 6 hrs.

    Day 10: 750 mls in 11 hrs.

Was funny too, I kept noticing all the Tesla’s we were passing (78 in 70 zones) in the mountains had there windows down???

Probably to keep the air off to increase range.

Made me wonder, what’s the range on a Tesla, in the mountains, at 70 mph, w/the air on

If slobbering Joe thinks EV's are good, you KNOW they are really, really, bad for us. The green team only wants bad things for us carbon emitting units.... Like Chaz sez, it's a power play to limit our freedoms. And our activities/travel.

Sorry but it takes more power because of air drag to drive with windows down,

For all the praise CRUD put's into the green-tard movement. Chaz = betting a canoli' that he hasn't put one nickel of his own money into buying an EV. Should put his money into "hot air" propulsion. That's all he's got .. BTW FJB and his *** swingers

Life is short, you better change your thinking if you want to see whats out there. This is boating site, 99% of us have boats, lots of us travel, and we pull. Like I said "good in town golf cart" for the people in this discussion group. If this administration can steer the consumer market/choice with $7500.00 rebates, what makes you think that they won't offer two or three times that as these things continue to stockpile on the lots and at the factories. The real world has already proven that they are not viable yet with rental companies not doing well, resale being pennies, and tow range is a total joke "City limits only". Here are the real world facts-listen to the speaker titles and people they have advised. This video is just over an hour that will enlighten you); https://youtu.be/A24fWmNA6lM
