Man, that Candela would really be a nice boat with a gasoline engine... 80% more efficient would mean awesome mileage and low emissions. You could go twice as far, twice as fast... for half the money!

Just produces ****loads of pollution to make it, due to the energy required (which has to be produced somehow), unless it's green hydrogen, which is not commercially viable (yet) for mass production. At the moment, the majority of hydrogen is reformed from fossil fuel bases, so if you want to get rid of fossil fuels, you are kinda stuck, unless you produce it by electrolysis, which uses lots of electricity.

Yes, it's not really a "fuel"... it's more like a battery to store energy from other less portable sources... like a nuke.

With the rate of power consumption going up like a rocket we will have to use ANY means available to us. Only difference will be is how destructive it is to the planet to obtain and use. Hydrogen is the best alternative for much of our needs as far as I can see.

Here's the thing about Joe Biben's price hike...

The U.S. holds more oil reserves than anyone else in the world, including Saudi Arabia, Russia, and Venezuela.

The little stickers on the gas pumps that say, "I did this!" are true!

That is impressive as heck and provides a very green solution to ice pollution and batteries shortcomings. And it has an LS!
