Johnny Sanders has got more padding on his left arm, then Carlo Rassini had on both his arms combined.

I guess making the cockpit padded weighted to much, or the crew didn't have enough time to install the padding.

...nice little tunnel boat models. jackie, since its design is simular to the boat you had, you could paint it like your boat was painted. just an idea.

    WOW!!!

Exactly a half CENTURY ago I was agonizing about making another cross country trip with an old obsolete BIRD--

I got a phone call--with an offer that I could not refuse--

My life would never be the same---

No, it could not possibly have happened any earlier than it did Steve.
    Several mitigating circumstances prevented this.
    Internal affairs at COSWORTH’S !
My falling out with Bill Brown.
A piece of luck that happened at the right place, and the right time, with the right person.
Plus, my ability to sell ice cream to eskimos, and the fire I had in my belly in those far off days to prove I did not need a factory ride.

Bill Brown only ever raced for CARLSBERG in white.
It was Bob Spalding who ran CARLSBERG in Red, then Jenks later on.
Incidentally Its just old age that has made the Miles look cream, it was once white.

Bought this from ALAN Brown Racing in SHAMLEY for the princely sum of £3,250. But I did a deal with Geoffrey Sizzey the salesman. I gave him three grand cash , a zodiac and a 4hp Mercury.
