Tricks that old racers get up to after retirement

I think I kinda jump on everybody else's threads and it's not long before they get pissed of with me, so if I do my very own thread I can't upset anyone else,( OR CAN I )
I cannot sit on my rear all day doing sweet bugger all, so I think laterally, and create the first things that come into my head.
I have a great little workshop with most every woodworking machines imaginable, a South Bend engineering lathe and a hydraulic bender that will bend up to three inch pipe.
Have made dozens of sculptures, models, creations, whatever you want to call them from stainless, alloy, brass, marble, granite, exotic and hardwoods.
These have been banished to the shed, the outhouse, and wherever there is a space by her who shall be obeyed.
Used to sell a fair number of items to the Americans, Swedes, Dutch and Germans when I lived in France, but have had my head up my arse for too long so it all has to change or the ship will sink due to the overload.
Will post you some pictures of the stuff I did while the Winter Olympics were in progress, including, snowboarding, windsurfer, etc.
Love it or loathe it, it will not be boring I can promise you that. J.

Hells teeth man, done that already.
once sold all the bedroom furniture to finance the Paris 6 hours.
could have been a rich man ( money wise ) if I had stayed home growing vegetables.
will send you some more pictures later on in the day.j.

Did these in January after visiting a craft shop where the guy was asking £2,000 apiece for his efforts, pissed him off when I told him I could do very similar in a lazy day, (4hours)

ID:	293044This was one of my wilder ideas, stainless off cuts, brass petals and a turned centre stamen in brass on a curved steel base mounted on a granite plinth.

Most folk think that I must suffer mad fits of depression to spend 5/6hours a day, 7days a week banging about in a workshop, creating objects of little value and minimum beauty to most eyes.
    reason is----I like doing it.
Went to Sweden , met this artist/sculptor Johnny Martinson -----married and divorced 5 times, pays out so much alimony he has to produce huge quantities of art to keep his head above water.
looked at all his creations and realised "I can do that. "
The year was 2011, just carried on every day producing whatever comes into my head, see a piece of wood, pick it up , turn it over and start carving and shaping until something tangible appears,,
bend it , mount it, polish it, then stick it in the shed and look in the scrap metal box for the next project.
yes of course STAVROS knows what I do, so does Rich Luhrs, they already have works of mine.
