    Jackie Wilson .....

Very sad news ..... We met at Molinari's'shop in 1970. He taught me to enjoy early morning tea and caused me to add 'Bloody Hooray' to my daily vocabulary.

We enjoyed the back-and-forth chatter we had on S&F a few years back, it was a friendship revival. I will miss him ..... Jackie Wilson

One of the more infamous "discussion" with Jackie; the OMC rotary race engine. This is from the first OFF I believe 2010.

Jackie you jumping ship right now, caught me by surprise.

I liked your frankness, but maybe I did not always agree with your recall and viewpoints.
It was a pleasure talking to you and, communicating with you and the guys via your thread -- Old Racers.

The best to you in moving on to the manor in heaven, that awaits your arrival.
    Peace be with you.

Regretfully far too dumb to do that, but it is on the British E-Bay site ( you may have to log on to that from your side). The Item number is 13506517134.

    Hope this helps…

a picture from the last OFA meeting of two of my favorite characters. GENE LANHAM and SIR JACKIE WILSON. Gene I met as a young man in Miami and he was the star of the Miami racing back in the 60s and 70s with his red Switzer Redbird. Also transitioned into one of the great ocean racing throttle man from the south Florida area. I met Sir Jackie Wilson later in life and he built a model of Redbird for me one of his famous replicas. Hands-down, two of the greatest characters in the world RIP, Jackie,. GENE long and happy life. Best always Amber Jack

    I have totally missed this.

Came up on my FaceBook page history today (9 years ago today) and I for the fist time read Jackie's comment.
Funny and I got a tear in my eye..I miss the old man..
Jackie also spelled my name correct.
