Life gets ever weirder, you couldn’t write the script. Guess what I found at the car boot sale yesterday? I did have to pay three quid for it including trailer!!!

I love that teak surround for the cockpit gauges and surround. Being a "wood" guy, it always looks good on boats. Maintenance more...yes.....but looks compared to plastic.....err fiberglass.......Priceless.

Fifty years ago today Renato and i were awarded the second place medals in the six Hours of Paris race. I never put the silver medal in my trophy cabinet. It has remained in my workshop since the day i brought it home.

there you go Johnno —- THE NERSTROM—- Got a bottom end you can give to anybody. Im happy to say I DID THAT. Boats in solid teak with half a dozen coats of clear laquer . if somebody wants to polish the hell of the boat , go ahead, its easy .
its mounted on the world and looks the biz.

And here are the two guys that won the 1970 Paris 6 Hour.
And of course Renato Molinari did not let these two pass him (if we were to ask him).

Team Jackie & Renato, I will assume disbanded after that race.
Jackie if Bob Hering never said thank you to you, then I will say it for him.
Team Bob & Renato became a new team to reckon with after 1970.

Jackie may I suggest something. Put that Silver Medal in one of your future sculptures.
It will add value to the sculpture, adding a story to the craftsmanship.
