Our useless leader will be dumped next year. Sadly, there is nothing the new guy could do to fix a 25% tariff. There are a lot of estimates floating around that the proposed tariff would reduce Canadian GDP by 2.5%. Our dollar will drop a lot more, and since I have a healthy US IRA and social security, I might be better off personally.

Trade is 67% of Canadian GDP and only 27% of US GDP. We are a lot more dependent on trade than you guys. And most of our trade, 63%) is with the US. So Mr Trump has leverage. Fair enough, if he uses it to benefit the US. If it's just about beating down the neighbours though, it's sad for both of us.

I’ve been telling all the nay saying, Trump hating Yankees down here, pretend you never heard of him an watch the economy after he’s sworn in.

    Then judge.

Seen this story before, term 1.
He got elected and people on the street (me) saw their economy exlplode!

Term 1 he didn’t understand politics and the swamp.

After 8 yrs of the left/media trying to destroy him and his family…., two things happened.

One, he found out how deep and big the swamp is.

    Two, they challenged him.

The guy is a brilliant businessman, ALL of his family is the same, he doesn’t drink, nor partake in any way, loves to work, and sleeps 4 hrs a day.

    I wouldn’t bet against him.

Our IRA increased 5% the night he was elected!

    We our witnessing our Reagan.

    And yeah, America first!

Everyone in every country should want a leader saying the same.

Yeah, you’ll piss off a few people.

    Get over it!

Maybe he will annex you guys in. We have plenty of contiguous land thats for sure. I wouldn't mind seeing a new "up North" that didn't limit me to the U.P. of Michigan for snowmobiling in U.S. territory. Plus you guys could get your guns and shovels back.

I was thinking we trade California for Canada.

Both far left but Canada is at least worth saving!

Yes there is, stop the flow of illegal immigrants across the Canadian border. Same as Mexico and Trump won't impose the tariff.

The flow of migrants from Canada to the US is trivial. More go the other way. What you should be pressuring Canada on is money laundering.

Some of Elons Lies are catching up to him, He's also charged millions of people $5,000 to 10,000 for self-driving, and he has NEVER provided self-driving, an Elon joke, the joke is on the customer, the SUCKER

Elon plays so many games, watch him drop the price on the cybertruck, after doubling it.

What really pissed me off was the promise of OVER 500 miles

It becomes 320 miles, which means 250 in real-life usage,
