Well 250 people died of the Coronavirus yesterday——— now we have over 1,000 in total!
Sobering thoughts, —— can’t help wondering where it’s all leading to???
F1 season could be extended as far as January next year—— wasn’t he a clever bugger that thought that one up——— seeing as how nothing is even scheduled to start unto well into June at the Canadian GP. Which means the start has been delayed by three months !
Poor old Vettel has to take a big hit in his pay packet——damn good job his pay wasn’t performance related.
Had a steady morning in the shop, with an even steadier afternoon forecast——- speed is no longer of the essence——— it matters not whether I even enter the shop!
Havent made enough progress to warrant any phoggies..

They are couple of great kids—- ran up and down the inter coastal all day long—— fully booked for rides all day long.
Young or old—- the adventurous and the scared—- the lads did a marvellous job that day —- And the boat performed perfectly.
Every off event should be a memorable occasion!

Gene—-You see what I mean about the OFF-meetings keeping its own identity. It’s important it doesn’t get lost ! I think the vintage boat club is great, but I think the Off meeting is greater—- trouble is, as we get older we get more intolerant—— can’t be bothered.
Well, I got an idea——- maybe we should have a get together of all the old boat racers — somewhere in England ???
Now I also know the guy who could put this all together is Christian Toll —- with a little bit of help from Mike Mantle and Mike Bontoft !
Christian is not very well at the moment—- he may have a bad dose of that damn bug that’s floating around, but he’s a big strong lad and I’m sure he’ll soon get over it.
There was always a huge gap between the “OFFSHORE GUYS AND THE CIRCUIT LADS”os, whereas in the USA most offshore racers started out on the circuit racing scene.(that statement is bound to stir up a crap storm).
Mortality rate amongst old drivers over here is about the same as in the USA—- to put it kindly “they're dropping like bloody flies” .
We have the 60th anniversary Cowes Torquay Cowes coming up—— it’ll be on the Isle of Wight—- maybe thats as good a time and place to hold an OFFWW ( OLD FARTS FOREVER WORLD WIDE meet as there will ever be!
God knows we all need something to look forward to in the near future!

Hells teeth Gene—- those old BOATRACING octogenarians are among the roughest, toughest people that ever drew breath.
But a lot will depend on worldly matters and the idiots that run them!
August is borderline I’ll agree—— but nothing’s impossible !

Well, didn’t I tell you “Martial Law” couldn’t be far off—— confined to the house at all times—— one walk a day—— if you have a dog, take it with you.
Only go to the market or store if you can keep a safe distance.( 6 feet).
Neighbours telling the police you went out twice ????
Wont be long before the rebellion!
Meanwhile—- all’s tranquille in the shop—- it’s still clean and tidy—a pleasure to be in there—- who gives a flying fart what you can’t do——— it’s what you can do that matters!

I could look it up on Safari or Google, but I know for a fact you are a hell of a lot more I.T. adept than me——- Go for it Fuji ——- I would be interested to know why it’s an Italian gearbox—— instead of a CHRISTIANSON OR JOHANSEN Drive?

Just in case you think I’ve been sat on my arse doing sweet fanny Adams these last two weeks—- here’s a progress report on the. “PEARL OF THE EAST
This ones a lot more fiddly than previous efforts——- and I've still got a long way to go.
The gun racks and the PURDY’S themselves—— the acetylene lamps —- tool boxes—- upholstery—-steering wheel and instrument panel, fuel tank and back spotter seat —— mirrors and front glass, plus lots more detail!
But, once you take on a project, you have to see it through.
Must confess—— mutilation of didget and a Pandemic didn’t help much.
Work rate has slowed a tad, but not the enthusiasm, I still beaver away diligently, although I’m down to about five hours a day out there these days.
I don’t exactly gulp down my breakfast any more—— leaping out of bed is more of a crawl these days—
and I’m super careful treading around in the shower—— I’ve even fitted a grab handle in there.

Suzuki just brought a new 250cc Engine with lots of patents pending——- pushes out nearly 120 hp per litre, which is more in line with most folks thinking.
Good example is The Triumph Thunderbird was pushing out 32 horsepower in 1951 from 650 cc.

Price of petrol has finally dropped to £1:00 Per litre—— May have something to do with the fact that nobody is going out—— not to work—— not to play—— not to collect groceries—- not to visit neighbors or beauty spots.
All the storage tanks in the world are full to capacity ——- production hasn’t just slowed down—— ”lit’s ceased!
People are finding out the world doesn’t stop , just because they have to work on the end of a computer at home !
Reckon there will be thousands of office blocks made obsolete——- so why would you pay a hundred grand in taxes when you can work from home for free!????????
That way you don’t need the car—- so you don’t need the over priced fuel—- knock on effect is delightful, all the way up to its own rectum!
