Well, I don’t have much idea of what’s going on across the pond—— Marks birthday today, all the family are spending the day on Hutchinson island .
Really shouldn’t be pushing and shoving lathes about at my age——- every muscle and sinew is screaming at me.
New one is being delivered this morning so there will be a certain amount of “ Manoeuvring” involved.
Road traffic is down by 50% and this is just the first week. Be interesting to see. What happens after a month!
Borders across Europe are now closed——-travellers Who didn’t quite make the deadline are in dire straights ! Another case for common sense to prevail—- but I doubt it will!

So, the chancellor has put up 350 billion pounds——- he calls it a war chest !!!!
Small firms and businesses can “borrow” from it at any time????
Now my sainted mother used to drum into me——— never borrow anything—— there always follows a “payback” day !!!!
Just where on Earth are they expecting to find this war chest???—— only one place it can come from—— the taxpayer——— all he has to do is put income tax up to 50% the first year across the board.
