Monday—- Monday—- just love that day!! Especially when the forecast is for four days sunshine and no damned rain.
World headlines are all about Coronvirus—- no doubt about it, panic has set in the world over.
Once again, common sense and plain logic is out of the window.
Hollywood couldn’t even dream up a disaster movie like this.
Over 1000 cases in England with 35 deaths, mostly the elderly with underlying health problems.
Hundreds of people have the disease —-but are fighting it and getting better.
World leaders and politicians are going the headless chicken routine—- they know nothing, but have to appear to know everything!
The “knock on” effect is worrying——- the world cannot stand still for four months and expect businesses to survive without massive financial support.
Every country in the world is in debt up to its eyeballs——- apart from the odd one or two oil rich nations—— Switzerland and Norway!
All other civilised countries have national debts of trillions—— after Coronvirus—- gazillions?

Tavares looks to have gone off very well with fine weather and a good turnout, congrats to all concerned!

As my sainted mother used to say “ THERES ALWAYS ONE” .
There could be a REBELLION in England for the first time in 400 years ——— Theyre messing with the old folk!
Normally, a docile old lot normally, until the current prime minister tells them they must “ Self Isolate” for twelve weeks ???
Now that’s already four weeks less than he wanted yesterday—— but it’s ten weeks more than the isolation period for all others.
Yup, I’ve got it, clear as mud———-he doesn’t know whether he wants a crap or a haircut, as long his lips are moving —- he’s happy !
One thing for sure —— he’s put the fear of God up a few million folk ——— and annoyed the hell out of another few millions ,

So, it’s official—— BRITAIN is closed for three months—— No sport—- no shops open—- no restaurants—— Airlines to stop 90% of all flights.
Now that’s all very well until you realise that commerce only works if it’s doing business—— if the work stops—- the money stops—- trade and money go hand in hand ! No money—- you don’t eat—— you don’t eat——- you starve and die, fact !
Around the world, there are still more people dying of flue than coronavirus!
More folk killed every day on the roads than by coronavirus.
Im not saying the situation is not very serious indeed——— but the draconian measures measures being taken by world leaders is a tad difficult to understand!
Norway—— CLOSEDOWN—— not a single Coronavirus death!
One thing for sure—- when this is all over—— spivs, gangsters and the mafia will be waiting in the wings to “build a new world”——— Mad???—- or not???

Long time no hear Pilgrim—- have they not shut down the gateway to the east ( Singapore) yet!
Uk borders are closed from noon today——- the Grand National has been cancelled———and the biggest catastrophic news of the day——-THE BOAT RACE HAS BEEN CANCELLED—-!!!!!!!
Oh dear me- oh lord—now you know it must be serious—— the annual OXBRIDGE boat race has been cancelled! That cannot happen—— if the Thames is flowing, there will be a boat race! Now the excreta really will hit the whirlygig!

New lathe arrives tomorrow—— thought I’d better get in before they stop all road transport—— those big bad lorries can carry all sorts of bugs—— don’t want all those nice shiny, almost new vehicles contaminated do we!???
Small problem to overcome——- need to get the trusty South Bend dismantled and palleted and on its way to China before the new one arrives tomorrow afternoon!
Somedays you eat bear—— but Lifes never dull is it .???

The world should of down this in Jan and it would have been contained now we are still dealing with an expanding disease and slowly tightening movements.
Need a shutdown of movement and then check its not expanding anymore

Small firms and businesses can “borrow” from it at any time????
Now my sainted mother used to drum into me——— never borrow anything—— there always follows a “payback” day !!!!
Just where on Earth are they expecting to find this war chest???—— only one place it can come from—— the taxpayer——— all he has to do is put income tax up to 50% the first year across the board.
when he sees he’s got away with it the first year——— increase it to 60% .

close everything—— the High street—— the Raiways—- The Airports—- The Hospitals—The Restaurants and pubs. People working from home ??? Only office workers and the like can work from home—— garbage collectors Cant!
Time to recruit the common sense brigade—— these Eton— Harrow and Oxbridge politicians seem to have lost all semblance of common sense ( that’s if they ever had any in the first place).
