I think it also makes the boat smaller. Have been unable to run the sportmaster any where near as fast as the coned torquemaster. I believe cause I run out of hull in the water and roll side to side on the sportmaster bottom. Hopefully Titus will correct this cause I would love to have more skeg in the water which will allow me to run the motor much higher with good water pressure.

The guy driving this one said it does 106 with some kind of prop and 99 with the non-labbed version. I forgot which kind unfortunately

You can see how the water comes off the notch here like a big trim tab pretty much eliminating chine walk.

Longer l/u bullet= more stern lift. Notch might be a little big? Not detracting, just observing. You are at neutral trim with the bow fairly high in the pic.

I personally think notch is a little to deep. The notch they did on my Challenger was perfect. But my super was built for one purpose and that was to be the fastest. Time will tell

Did you ever consider putting it back to normal? Then sporty wont need mods either!

No the boat is light and believe me speed is not a problem, Im positive it will be much cheaper to have the sporty blue printed than have Raybo fill the notch.

Maybe tweak the area where the notch intersects the trans with some bondo and make a lil hook on it. 1/8'' or so. If it works, replace with gell.

Rob you mean Eddies blue challenger? Maybe weight has something to do with it? Superboat is 10" Challenger was 8". Joe didnt have a problem running a sporty on his super either but I think his notch was 8" also. Im also running a 1 1/2" above the pad and would go higher if I had water pressure.

No ed L's superboat. The last 21 made with the old deck, was also running a 15" 300x
if waterpressure is theonly issue why not a external water pickup?

Ah dont know the boat. Cant run a 15" on mine, the BIA is to high but I really dont see the need. Joe always said his best speed was with prop shaft even with his bottom.
