NOT DOING ANYTHING PRODUCTIVE !!!!! Just finishing off the concepts I’ve put on one side until “I FEEL LIKE IT”. And believe me there’s quite a few of those lying about.
No takers for the OFF yet !!!!!! But then again i never thought there would be .

Amberjack got caught up in all that mess — he has a tale to tell that defies belief . Serial killers do not get the jail time he was allotted for a drugs related misdemeanour— but thats for Charlie to tell -not me .
As for credit cards taking over from cash????????? You must be having a laugh !!!!! Its never going to happen —CASH IS KING !!!!! ALWAYS WAS AND ALWAYS WILL BE !!!!!
AS FOR ELECTRIC CARS “GO BUCK A FUFFALO “. Only the brainwashed will buy those damn things !!!!!!!!
Set fire to themselves on the container ship thats delivering them——- self ignite for no apparent reason ???? Burn so fierce the fire services just let them burn !!!!!!Was told they can do as much as 300 miles on a single charge ——if you do 30mph—do not switch on the wiper blades—lights —indicators or air-con. And forget the heater when its cold .

Do 80 mph —-using the heater and lights on a cold winter night and you wont even do 100 miles before the batteries run flat. A good salesman will never tell you the downside —- only the positives .

Petrol [or gasoline if you like] will always be around —— although hybrids do nearly double the mileage ! Media did a damn fine job promoting all electric vehicles —- but boy were they ever wrong . And the government bodies have not even begun with the taxation that will surely follow the all electric vehicle.

Were used to buy hulls and decks from Bing out the back door and take them to Andy’s shop in Hallandale and rig them for customers. A lot of fun back then several of my friends had some of those boats but I always preferred scarabs since I was a Wellcraft dealer.

David Gilmour from Abbet and Gilmore and I used to be pretty good friends and we traded Wellcraft back-and-forth my shop mostly sold small boats fishing center consuls and David’s shop in North Miami Beach sold a lot of scarabs. So if I ever needed one I could get it from him at the factory price Are used to have a guy from down on the keys that are coming in buy Motors a half a dozen at a time all 200s or 23 fives Johnson’s or 200 to 25 Mariners. I keep them until he needed them rigged and then usually it was the late afternoon deal and I had my mechanic stay, and he paid cash fun times back then, as Jackie says cash is king

Opa-Locka airport, a favorite place of all South Florida Flyboys. Took some flying lessons there back in the early 70s learn the basics and took some jobs cigar. Joe had a facility there for engine overhaul worked on a lot of radio engines on the DC threes and the beach 18s. When I was living in Miami Lakes, you could hear them taking off late in the afternoon heading south. are used to fly up to North Perry airport to do our touching goes and then come back to Opa-Locka for the one or two hour lessons that we take from Burnside Ott a local flying school. Years later, when I was doing one of my first federal hitches, we boarded an old clapped out 727 to fly out to Oklahoma City to be processed into the federal system. Everybody goes through Oklahoma City at one time or another and flown back to Atlanta fed and then to Montgomery prison camp. That was a short one only five years.

I keep getting notices from this lady that I somehow got on her mailing list on how to live outside the US for cheap money she’s based in Panama city, panama and says that Portugal is one of the cheapest places to live in Europe. When I was in a whiskey business, I knew one Britt, by the last name of Sandeman connected up with the port and Sherry Family he came over and spent a year in South Florida and we had some wild times together wonder whatever happened to him took him to a couple of boat races here in Florida St. Petersburg the Miami Marine Stadium he seem to like it a lot anyway just wandering and reminiscing. One of my first prison go around was in Belize city back in the mid 80s used to watch the Harrier jump jet takeoff from the airport , and do their flyby’s in the morning they were bass there to keep the Guatemalans in check and they had a company of British SAS, who were there to train the local Defense force. Crash the plane down there so I had to spend some time there before we got out.

Did tell you Charlie has some wonderful tales to tell !
Only met the once for an afternoon [my last day in florida] with Caddilac McDaniel —was going to be just a quick visit to deliver one of my concepts . Charlie wound up with a whole bunch of them and we simply ran out of time .
I left with a bunch of pictures and a headful of stories and a race to the airport to catch a plane home .
Thats Just the tip of the iceberg—-keep ‘em coming Charlie — a hell of a lot of folk read scream and fly four times a day [especially the old farts] !!!!!!!

CHARLIE SAUNDERS was a partner in JBS — along with DAVID PARKINSON .HE was heir To the “COCKBURN” PORT EMPIRE so maybe he knew the Sandemans !!!!!

birds from wealthy families working for him . Picture was taken in the mid seventies just before the BRISTOL GP. BILLY WAS DRIVING FOR JOHN PLAYERS . Might even have been a Velden ???
Remember Bristol was the largest importing city in England and the home of the Tobacco and Port and Sherry trade .

Hells teeth but somebody -somewhere really pissed God off today !!!!!!!!
Its not just raining , there’s a 50mph wind blowing a NOR’EASTERLY and the rains coming down horizontally !!!!!!!!!! Certainly making a mess of the plants —shrubs and flowers .
Car boot sale has been actually cancelled for the first time in its history, not a good day for a hike or a swim .

When I was working at Action Marine we experienced a resin shortage due to a strike. Barney got a line on a couple of drums of good resin in Hialeah. I was sent to pick up these drums in his El Camino. When I got out there to the shop where it was they had to move some stuff around to get them out. While I was waiting I noticed an ocean racer type boat in the other bay of the shop. This boat was painted flat black and had no markings of any kind. Also a full canvas cover was rolled up on the bow. I couldn't get out of there fast enough.

As punishment, Byng Goode`s company must make $500,000 worth of the sleek, high-powered boats for the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration to use in their efforts to combat drug smuggling.

Randy Lanier got into smuggling weed with fast boats off the coast of south Florida. Later a friend named Ben Kramer joined Lanier in smuggling.

Then later, also, the Whittington brothers Don & Bill connected with Lanier in Blue Thunder Racing.

The government put a stop to both the smuggling and racing careers of the 4 guys. By arresting them all.

One of my first prison go around was in Belize city back in the mid 80s used to watch the Harrier jump jet takeoff from the airport , and do their flyby’s in the morning they were bass there to keep the Guatemalans in check and they had a company of British SAS, who were there to train the local Defense force. Crash the plane down there so I had to spend some time there before we got out.

The first time I witnessed a Harrier jet was at El Toro Air Show. I just loved the maneuverability and hovering of the fighter plane. At the time the new stealth fighter F 117 was on public static display, with armed military soldiers surrounding the aircraft.

However, the Harrier performance was only surpassed by the finale show of the Blue Angels.
