Roy--The Fire College was six stories--the roof was over 70 feet---

Jim---I don't think the County had an AIRBAG??

We were having a demo of our bag at the Fire College--I was driving the Chief---I had made many jumps--and I jumped from the roof--

So----the Chief insisted on jumping from the roof---

Rescue 6 transported the Chief to Jackson Memorial--

I drove the Chief's car back to Station 1 by my self---

We did acquire an air bag. When I was District 2 Chief I was stationed next door to the training facility. I jumped into it a few times. Only once from the roof. You were retired by then.

Hey Jackie, haven't posted in a while.....hope all is well. Was wasting time online and happened across a photo/saying that reminded me of you. I know how thin-skinned you are, so I hope this doesn't ruin your day. Making the best of every day is a good thing. Regards

ID:	515788HAVE A WHOLE DAY TO MYSELF ——no one coming —— spent yesterday doing an AMERICAS cup boat [just for the hell of it and to see if i could ???????
Bought a shed load of BURMESE TEAK from the car boot yesterday .
From a dismantled Isle of Wight passenger ferry boat [seats and lockers] in fact enough to keep me going for a few years yet.
Must confess to admitting there is nothing quite so satisfying as making an old wooden spokeshave sing again. Found another three yesterday—spent an hour reshaping — and VOILA —i have me a new tool [ i have over two dozen of these now]
i know all america cup boats cost gazillions and have names like PRADA—-EMIRATES—-ORIENT EXPRESS——INEOS——and the like .
Money is no object in the development of SAILBOATS. ??????????? Complete with FOILS. This alone makes the very word “SAILBOAT” obsolete .
IWILL MAKE A CONCEPT OF EACH CONTENDER ——- every boat will have a solid Burmese teak hull—- only the foils will be painted in the correct colours .
Will be a very limited edition . Price will be $500 .
Scream and fly readers will be given first dibs ——-after that , they go on the open market.

Y’all know the old adage “ once upon a time”——or if you happen to be a boat racer YOU AINT NEVER GONNA BELIEVE THIS SH-T !!!!!!
GUY WALKS INTO SUPERSHED ——-he has a shed load of Brazilian mahogany—-English walnut—-american oak—-sapele——-Burmese teak. Needs a pallet pump up , i just happen to have one —— whatdya know ?????????
Governments are trying to tax us out of existence —or so we make just enough money to make them happy [which they will never be because they’re the bloody government].
but they are dumb as a mules rear end when it comes to factual knowledge ——- they want to get rid of cash so they have a digital record of everything you do—say and earn!!!!!
thing they cant understand is HUMAN NATURE !!!!
We are all wheeler dealer conniving-lieing—odgits with a legal entitlement to pay governments the minimum required payments —-as such we will never allow cash to disappear .
Barter system is hereto stay —- if i want to swop the KOO-I-NOOR for the Empire State Building — then siss on you pister——- no money changed hands and i dont lose 50% tax on the deal.
In England local coastal authorities want to charge £7-00 for a dip in the sea —- What —- next it will be a fiver for a breath of fresh air and six quid for a crap—-five for a piss and four for a fart. If their wasn’t so much incompetence in government —then they wouldn’t need that much cash anyway.
Just dont get me started on footballers and golfers —- $30,000 a stroke ——-£10,000 a kick ???????
    i’m off before i get hurt !!!!!!!!

Near Sheffield England, some people must fancy their automobiles liken to a boat.

I think a young guy with a small barge/pontoon could make himself some spending money. And it would not have to be motorized, a pole or rope would work. With no one getting wet, including the cars and trucks.
