Rain finally stopped for a while sun came out for most of the day yesterday. England finally got back to work . Boris made the right decision for once —it would appear . Couple of good friends no longer with us . One of the reasons i keep a low profile these days , dodging the reaper .
Mood of melancholy all day— went up to see my old neighbour EDDIE JEGLA he lives on his own —- is 95 and not in the best of health . Went with daughter BOO . Try to see her at least once a week as i do my other daughter SAM .
Bloody Thursday yet again . Hard frost this morning. Obviously its the car boot sale at Ford Aerodrome and then on to the scrapyard seeking treasure . Day that i find it ,I’ll let you know .

By the cringe it was feckin cold at the car boot. —— —5 degrees or about 25 F. Had to break the icicles off‘n the snotter several times . As my sainted mother used to say COLDER THAN A WITCHES TIT.
bought a rake of stuff —-about £150 worth . Will all come home to roost one day . Thats if i ever sell anything again .

Pigeons have decided to make the roof of SUPERSHED into a pigeon ****tery , which does not best please me as you can imagine .
i have always thought pigeons were flying rats anyways , so they don’t exactly rate high my estimation .
Cant take the shotgun and simply blast them out of existence as there are neighbours [one is a pigeon fancier] who may not take kindly to shotguns to rid the community of flying rats !!!!!!
Chap over the fence has a bird scarer which detonates every seven and a half minutes and has absolutely no effect whatsoever on the birds taking a crap on SUPERSHED‘S roof .
i thought of SEMTEX —-TNT——NITRO-GLYCERINE , but am loathe to put the roof of SUPERSHED in jeapordy . Suggestions would be appreciated .

1 -string fishing line across roof in a crossways pattern so they can't land
2 - Get a barn owl and it will take care of rodents too

Tried the fishing line —- pulled it nice and tight —- feckin birds of all kinds use it as a crapping fence .
my BARROWMETER Is full to overflowing. God was out on the RAZZLE last night DRANK A LOT .
Today we are suffering the consequences. Steady downpour all day—- car boot cancelled —- SUPERSHED is calling .

If they linger long enough, a coopers hawk will figure it out. Your neighbor won't like it, but you could call a falconer and have them come over for a "visit" and a meal.
Just having that predator present on your property will make em scatter like seeds. Your grandkids would absolutely love it.

Any "pet" you have to handle with a welder's leather jacket and gloves is something to watch.

In Britain, I am certain you have falconers who hunt with birds of prey..........equivalent to shooting. Been going on long before guns appeared.

Oh yes, we are quite high here [colloquially speaking]. so do not really have a problem , just making idle chatter as 90 year olds are prone to !!!!!!!!
Started another project [DICK VAN DYKES CHITTY -CHITTY BANG -BANG]. Turned out to be a real teaser . Everything from the round brass radiator, to the the angled bonnet [hood] has proved anything but simple . But i will overcome.
Done the wheels and axles —- tried three different chassis up to now —still not happy— its a bit agricultural and OVERKILLED in most areas .
radiator is going to have to be round —- but its close enough —- although i am led to believe the car was originally a GP RACE CAR. ?????
Will do the odd progress piccie as time goes on.
finally stopped raining —- omnivorous is just like flu—-media tells us that we have the highest number of covid related fatalities in the civilised world . Good news is ——nobody died of old age—-flue—cancer —road accident——heart attack—suicide or malnutrition. Strange isn’t it ??????
