The more you delay the more thats where your country will end up

Boris did it Pilgrim—— closed everything from the hairdressers to the airports. Brits abroad have just 24 hours to get back—— after that, forget it.
I thought being an island might help, but it hasn’t. They even have it in Ireland and on the Isle of Wight and the Isle of Man.
If you are caught outside for any reason than the few allowed you can be fined up to £1,000 and thrown in to the hoosgow!
20,000 troops on standby for London alone—- can only be 24 hours away from martial law!!!

Now me!!!—— let me tell you a bit more about what I’m up to in the shop !!!!!—————

When I tell you I’m clear out the shop——- you’d better believe me !
Came across an old carrier bag chock ful of old boating trophies—— mostly club trophy’,s—- but some from Essen—- Baden Baden —— Paris and Milan.
Plus the dreaded second place six hour trophy—— and a cup winners football trophy from the early sixties !

Now you have a nice clean and tidy work bench tell us who had the best/worst workshop among the boatbuilders you visited , also do you agree the more
    messy = more artistic .

When a boatbuilder is busy, snot, sawdust and wood shavings are all over the hog market—- When Hodges got his head down and his arse up, his only interest was a finished product. There wasn’t enough money in the game to employ cleaners! Just before he turned the light off, he would have a clean up!
Torriggia factory was particularly clean—— before Molinari took it over.
Schultze workshop was like mine—— bottom of the yard shed—- when the lady finished feeding the livestock she helped him glue up and then cleaned up afterwards.
Konigs workshop was more cluttered than mine ever knew how to be.
Burgess was middle of the road, but he always had more work than he could cope .
Charlie Shepherd was designer, builder, salesman, dogsbody workshop was generally a mess, but the most genial man I ever met.
Seebold was always up to his fetlocks in shavings, but Bebe was in charge, and kept the place in good shape!
Wobbly at Blue Fin wasn’t the tidiest worker, but his work was beautiful.
Souters was a very tidy shop.

The dirtier the shop, the more artistic as a fallacy from those that aren’t really that talented but hide behind the chaos.

Jackie, I know you always had a high regard for Charlie Shepherd as did we all. Did you manage to stay in touch with the family or as with the rest of us “life got in the way”?

Tomorrow I’ll show you a piccy of my shop—— no more wire tangles—- I’m actually working on the PEARL OFTHE EAST, 1908 Silver Ghost Rolls-Royce —— on my workbench.
Something I’ve never been able to do before!

This is the original PEARL OF THE EAST.
With a bit of artists licence—- I’m sure I can come up with a semblance—- but with additions.
The very first one ordered had a rear dicky seat and a rack of Purdeys The top was reinforced and sported a rake of made to measure suitcases by Finnegans, reported to have cost damn near as much as the Rolls itself!
