Hospital check up at 8:00 am—- finger doing ok—- anti- biotics kicked in—— still a bit of custard oozing, but mostly good. Splint stays on for another two weeks, then another assessment?

Blackthorn is full out——- now we’re into the “ Blackthorn Winter.”
This lasts for approximately six weeks, before we get the summer sunshine!

Lowestoft and OULTON Broad ( oldest power boat racing club in the world) has cancelled its first spring meeting.
No prospect of any further events of any kind soon.
Daughter Sam arrives back from the USA this morning——ENGLAND is a different place today from the one she left just ten days ago. Interestingly, she had no difficulty catching the very plane the return flight was booked on.
What is worrying is the fact that 350 people are entering a country—— supposed to be in lockdown—— without any screening or testing for the virus——aircraft have long been breeding grounds for coughs and colds———- they are where folk are packed in like sardines , with the person behind coughing and spluttering all over the hog market , so much for the isolation theory!
cant be long before martial law is brought in.
Now the virus has spread to Africa—- every single country has reported victims.
North Korea claims it doesn’t have a single person with the disease—- but then again—- truth is not one of their strong points.
Boris’s dad is claiming French nationality ? —- his mother was French——well, there was a war on !!!
Government tell us the peak of the disease should be in two weeks time???—- but reserve the right to change the goalposts !!!
We do have wall to wall sunshine for the next five days with a gentle breeze—— trouble is its coming from the east ( Norway) and its cold as charity.
Spent the day in the shop yesterday clearing up—— I was falling over myself, due to my lack of enthusiasm for tidiness.
Next comes the dreaded clear out——stuff I haven’t used in over a year has to go!
I will try and be a bit more cheerful with next offering!

Unplugged every device that was plugged in my worktop, including the one that almost cost me a finger.
Repaired three of them and serviced every one. Chucked one, as it had been playing up for a while.
I can actually walk up and down the workshop without turning sideways !
Nother couple of days I will have the shop exactly the way I always wanted it ——— then I’ll batten down the hatches and beat the crap out of CORRI-Vee.

Had a mad fit of depression and redesigned my workbench —— I used to have up to ten devices plugged in at once —- all ready to go.
Problem with this, is that I’m left with a desk full of twisted wires and no room to manoeuvre or construct concepts.
Meant constructing a supporting framework to hold nine electrical contraptions .
Well it’s in situ, I’d had enough for today anyway— 17:00 hours, sun must be over the yardarm somewhere in the world.
Its not that I’ve got an appointment—- or even allowed out tomorrow.
Boris just about shut down everything—— two days away from martial law at this rate.
He’s just closed ALL small businesses—— with an order to stay indoors to everyone else, taken control of the railway network——- told all holiday makers to return home at once as He's grounding all aircraft.
Looks like I have all the time in the world to get the workshop exactly as I dreamed it would always be.
