Agreed—— but what he did have was a great boat—- A great mechanic——(MECURY FRANCE) and an impeccable pedigree——— started in the junior ranks with a ten horsepower Mercury—— climbed steadily up through the ranks————- and JENNAU weren’t exactly penniless!

Funny how we don’t see the name JOHNSON OUTBOARDS any more—- understand somebody took over the EVINRUDE OUTBOARDS brand ——- but it looks to me like the name is slowly dying.
Very rare I go to a boat show these days or even buy a boating magazine—— only time I ever see the name is on Lasse’s Facts thread——- and then it’s mostly forty year old pics from the past for the umpteenth time.
Suppose if you’re dead and buried, it does no harm to rear up and be remembered occasionally.
