    Hi Jackie
did you find out if the P1 hulls have had a redesign at the last rebuild or are they the same as way back when they were the Honda race boats?
Clearly they got new deck but the running surface?

Changed hands a few times--was re-powered with the Kiekhaefer 'Champion Maker Engines'--and became a ROCKET--One of my favorites

Rightio Gene——— I’ll put this one on the back burner——— got more than enough going on with the Magoon boats.
Taken me two days to cut out the ’V6s and lined up in some semblance of order.
While it ain’t exactly galloping along——— progress is being made!

Been awake half the night thinking about the cockpit glass——— done a dummy run, but it was crap and even I couldn’t get away with it.
Did the three rolled up curtains in white handbag leather——- came our a treat—- quite chuffed with those——- dead authentic!
As usual I’m struggling with paint———a lily white base is hard to get right on an open grain chunk of English oak.
Reasonably well satisfied with progress thus far——— Spotlights —— radio masts —— Radar. All went like clockwork, deck rails and decals as well as the plexiglass, could be a tad more mind taxing.
Still, nobody said life was easy——— it just looks that way ‘Cos I’m fat and happy and I woke up ready to take on the world again this morning!
As the frog said——- “IT AINT EASY BEING GREEN”.

Dont forget the Quicksilver twostroke oil was good for the wild life——- shrimp and trout in particular—- aerates the water—— kills parasites—— and makes for happy ducks and geese!!!

It gets mind boggling when you do the math--Jackie.

You will need ten V-6's for the two Citcorp Travelers

I am sure I finally have the complete list for ALL the boats running the inline 6 powered Magoon boats--Mercury factory must have put on an extra shift to keep up with the demand------(and spares)

    I will post soon, Jackie
