There are times occasionally when I’m glad a particular day is done——— today is one of them!
At 13:30 hours we get told to go home——— at 18:30 hrs we are still waiting for the meds and discharge papers. Asked one of the nurses to check my pulse, just to be sure rigor mortis hadn’t set in. I hate wasting days of my life———- I don’t have that many left that I can afford to waste one.
On reflection, we are back where we started five days ago——? How ‘bout that for progress ?
Just a tad pissed off at the world right now——- maybe things will look a little brighter after a good nights sleep!

Looking at the positive side, at least you will be back home with Jill. That means that the shop is only a few steps away. If you play your cards right, you will over attend Jill to the point that she tells you to leave her be and go spend some time out in the shop...You win...!!

Never realised “Colonials” had a liking for Monty Python type humour———was always known for extremes——— ugliest bugger in the world without a doubt was Marty Feldman———- dumbest was Eric Idle——— fattest with a voice and an infectious laugh was Harry Secombe.

SO, THE RYA ——— “Royal Yachting Association” has finally thrown in the towel———— not that it ever did much for powerboating EVER.
What it does is in the title. YACHTS ——— with sails——- unless of course you happen to be a reigning monarch——— billionaire——- own a country or commonwealth——— then the RYA will jump to attention, curtsy and cowtow for a few crumbs.
Real power in the boating world is THE SQUADRON————- the holy grail of English boating———- something the RYA craved but never achieved.
This is going to develop into an uncontrollable argument——- been going on for over sixty years to my knowledge.
Lets see what’s thrown at us over the next couple of days———- could be very interesting?

Very true....I don't suppose though in these changed(ing) times we will see his like again. He managed the "art" of innocent humour to perfection.

C’mon guys——— Benny was “Slapstick” humour————- like Laurel and Hardy——— Harold Lloyd and the Marx Brothers. ———- Abbott and Costello———-etc. Bob Hope was a little more subtle——— but not a lot.
Python and the Holy Grail sometimes needed a lot of figuring out!

Jesus wept Gene, but you’re a glutton for punishment———-toys are just like humans——— when they get to a certain age, they require medication——— lots of TLC——-replacement parts——- overhauls and only gentle useage!
Theres still plenty of life left left in us if we are used gently and wisely———- and not called on for maximum performance and lasting stability. (TOO OFTEN )
