Looks like we finally sorted out the mystery of the missing concepts I sent to John Schubert and Son Mark. Originally, I sent two parcels to John and one to Mark !
Weeks later two parcels turned up on my doorstep, one addressed to John, one to Mark but in one box. They made it to New Jersey where they were examined by customs and quote----"Resealed with care" and sent back to me.
Spent the last month trying to find out why--------nobody knows------I never lost my rag, I gently chased the problem to a half assed conclusion which involved me paying a fee of £7:95 to send the two parcels back to the USA.
im still chasing the third package which, was a concept for Ron Hill that John was going to work on.
Who knows-------maybe one day ? In the meantime that bastard time thief is working his nuts off !

This is the the picture I told you about------Roy's son, Roy Ridgell posted it originally.
Fuji, bottom right is the Torriggia factory-------showroom was the top floor, have no idea how to put a cross there?
On reflection, there is a huge part of powerboating history associated with Torriggia.

John Schubert , parcel on its way-------month late, can't be helped.
Do what you can with it-------will get the mount for it to you sometime later in the year.
had a message from Trans Global----------they are delivering a parcel here in the morning. Maybe it's the missing parcel, will let you know either way.

DON PRUETT drove the twin transom Molinari in this picture in the 1971 Paris 6 hr race was nearly 20ft long said he wanted a nice ride through the wash from all the barge traffic but that was the year they stopped the barges while the race was in progress.

Think that Willabee has a different take on the boat- Steve! -------that's him sporting the top lip growth, Pruett drove my 17' Molinari in the 1970 Paris race----- he ran third for a goodly part until he threw a blade. That boat was the best boat there--------I told Renato we should run my boat, but as usual he didn't listen.!

Was it just yesterday or nearly fifty years ago ? Won't be long before these are just old phoggies that nobody recollects who the people were anyway.
im pleased I did what I did, the path that I chose was the right choice. Friends I made are the ones I still have. My children and grandchildren's lives were shaped by the decisions that I made.
I have never met anyone who's life I would swop for mine, nor do I know of anyone who had a better life than I did.
i ate bear for most of my life-------thank you God for helping me make the right choice!

Looks like summers here-----wall to wall sun for the next ten days ( so the met office forecast ).
Schools here in the U.K. Don't shut down until the end of July, that's probably why we get mostly rain in August.
Bloody slow progress on my back and left arm------forgotten what it's like to feel normal. Spent three hours in the shop yesterday------- spent all night regretting it.
Thought I might actually "draw" a sketch of what I might make next------- but if I've no idea what's coming , how the hell can I draw it? Would have to be an Albert ( Einstein) to be able to do that.
Sorry to miss Tavares this fall, maybe next year------chance of doing a lap in an old boat gets more remote by the year. Maybe it's better that I don't, would be a shame to bend a fully restored vintage rig!

You're right about the third printer Pilgrim, but not for the usual reasons. First printer lasted from the day Steve Job and Bill thingumijig started Apple. It's still up in the attic. Had to move on from steam power to WI--FI------------mistake, they don't make things like they used to. HP all singing and dancing Magical Wi-Fi printer gave up after a year and a day. Have to take my hat off to the clever buggers that designed that one. Gives a one year guarantee and it self destructs the day after and needs replacing.
Of course the price has come tumbling down-------for thirty quid, I can get a brand fire new all singing and dancing version and for another three quid you get the bells and whistles and Wi-Fi.

Cant see me and 3D getting along very well--------me and perfection don't recognise each other .
Will tootle off to the printer store and see what sort of deal I can do next week. We got our Dutch friends coming for Three Days tomorrow.
