Ok Gary, this is how the P1 thing works. There are three options.

For around $100,000 you can buy a P1 ready to run.
For around $40,000 you can rent one and use your own sponsor.
For around $15,000 you can run one for the season using a designated sponsor.

Basically it's a one design series------this season Mercury motors are being used.
Speeds are in excess of 70 mph and all boats are set at the beginning of the season to run as near identical speeds as it's possible to get.
Craig managed to set up 10 of the boats but never got around to sorting his own for the first race.
This coming week will see him prepare the rig for next weekends race.
He did tell me where it's at, but like I told you a dozen times"my memory's shot".

Turned out to be one of the best lunchtime Bar-B-Que' s ever------all the food was manna from heaven.
I dragged the kettle under the new gazebo I installed yesterday, put on the waterproofs and cooked my heart out.
Best shrimp since the days of the OMC shrimp bakes .

That's it, holidays over, I survived another bank holiday. BA' s computer glitch screwed up thousands of holidays. Crappy weather meant there was no rush to the beach.
New penalties for idiots using the cellphones while driving--------£200 fine and six points on the licence.
Weekend just kinda fizzed out like a damp squib, me myself played master chef and won. Jilly and me still like each other's company best.
The two kinds of lights still applies-------headlights and tail lights-------nice to see 'em come-------nicer still to see 'em go!
Workshop reopens at 7;30 am Tuesday morning, subject normal!

John Schubert--------just realised the boat I did for Ron Hill hasn't come back--------did you get it?
You will have plenty of work to do before you get it anywhere near your standard of perfection.

Complicated boat in this competition so its not just down to the driver, lots of it down to boffins with computers

Ben Ainslie is to sailing what Mike Phelps is to swimming or Sirois was to powerboating, he somehow manages to get the gold medal in whatever boat he's in. He won't give up without a fight. Have to admit he made a right pigs ear of it yesterday, French don't even have a half tidy boat! As I said before Pilgrim, it's not over till the fat lady etc.

Jilly grows some of the biggest poppies in the world, these are over eight inches in diameter.
Everything she touches grows at a prodigious rate!

    Jackie,

I haven't received anything from you. I was wondering where they were myself.

No explanations, just resealed and repacked and sent back. Been a bank holiday weekend here and everyone wet to the moon. No response from ups yet.

Don't feel like sending any more concepts anywhere until I get some answers.
Been photoing a load of my machines that I don't think lm going to ever use again including my silent compressor, mig/tig inverter welder, argon bottles , gloves and helmet------the whole shebang. Used it four times in as many years and it's taking up valuable workspace, it has to .go.
