Gary, it sounds to me like you've done your fair share of "living the life"----- it's nice to hear of the "Tricks" that other boaters get up to ---------had a mastoid when I was 14, -------deep end of a swim pool was my maximum dive depth, . 150' must seem like the bottom of the world, and underwater photography must be amazing --------you was right up there with Jaque Cousteau and all the other underwater adventurers.
You can post as many pics here as you like Gary, maybe arthritis is a small price to pay for the fun you had.

Thats the only picture I ever saw of That particular boat Bob--- Camera man had the shakes----now I have quite an imagination, but apart from the fact it's a three pointer Jones tunnel with a pair of "those" on its bum, I'll be hard pushed to get the bit in front of the driver about right!
Got most of it roughed out and the lumps are "in progress", but I always thought it had a third pickle up front ?
Well hells teeth, I can't get EVERYTHING right ALL of the time !
Found a nice piece of Cherry for the sponsons and a chunk of my sainted mothers walnut table that turned out to be mahogany for the centre section.
It'll make somebody a nice office piece!

You know what Bob, I still can't make out that centre pickle--------done the sponsons and the combing, that's quite passable--------even nailed the centre section and the damned "Rudes"!
Tried again for half an hour to log onto Boat Facts------a real horses arse problem-------been like that for two years, I finally threw in the towel!
Was going to ask Ron Hill for a picture of his boat, maybe I should use FaceTime !

I have to apologise JOHN, I always assumed it was a Jones !
was it RAICH HALLETT who built those boats?
Best looking boats of all time were the KT FLATTIES---------Rayson, HALLETT --Schiada------proper men's toys with brutal V8's by KEITH BLACK. They not only looked fast______they sounded fast.
Where have all the great names gone--------legends in there own time -------who will pick up the baton ?
There was just something different that I liked about Rons boat that I liked ( even though it had "those" lumps on it)--------I've always liked DIFFERENT!
Ive got three or four "Concepts" that are in urgent need of your attention JOHN .
Once I get myself sorted I'll post them to you.

Senator Rich is looking for a Centurian or a 650 ?--------the only centurian I ever came across was Charlie Heston in Ben Hur --------and the only 650 I ever owned was a 1951 triumph Thunderbird. If we fast forward some 60/70 years, seems it's only the "Toys" that have changed, oh, and the price of the toys.
Remember RICH, THE THRILL IS IN THE CHASE-------never the kill ?

CENTURION? Great plane from Cessna. I flew my 'Pressurized Centurion' for over 20 years and nearly 6000 hours (a million miles?)
I flew this young man through the 'Maroon Bells'---- many years ago---

And he still seems to be very interested in controllable pitch propellers?

Looks like Anderson, tall, lanky, bald, sh-tty shades------belt too tight, floppy footwear ? Then I saw the bottom picture------------Anderson still looks tall, bald and lanky!
Great pictures Gene, you had it up lately (colloquialy speaking of course)
Taxman finally caught up with F1,------knew the whole set up was bent as an eleven sided threepenny bit--------illegal backhanded payments-------F1A buys a one percent share for less than half a million and cashes it in for $80,000,000 six months after Liberty moved in ------skunks smell sweet compared to F1.
Stopped watching it a year ago, Russian Athletes, football, cycling, tennis, the list is endless. May have to take up watching paint dry for some excitement!

Hi Jackie
I read in the news they are having another go at uk football and transfer fees.
Thats where the owner pocket millions and they have kept that a secret for years.
Now you know why rich guys buy soccer teams yet you cant have a dividend or profit.Last edited by powerabout; 04-28-2017 at 10:28 PM.

Haven't been able to get it up, Jackie, I have been back in the mountains for two weeks, and it has rained and snowed for at least 8 or 10 days, the hangar is cold enough to store frozen meat--should have stayed in the desert til first of May??
Fred retired a couple years ago, moved to Colorado, has a 'little unit' nearby. I've known Fred since he was a juvenile (delinquent). Over the years he has collected some nice toys---

Gene, I never ever knew Fred -------though my son Mark gets on quite well with him. only once saw Carl K, that was in Paris around '61 at the launch of the "Black Widow"--------- maybe that was a European colloquialism ?
Shoulda stayed in the desert Gene------have to say, it's been colder than a witches tit here all of April, no rain whatsoever which can mean only one thing------DROUGHT-------and a hosepipe ban---------
can you remember ---------the sun comes up, and the sun goes down ?
You are right about the football billionaires--and the corruption ------Al Capone was a gentleman and a scholar compared to those lying thieving bastards.
Saturday and time for the "FACILITY FORAGE", need some solid alloy billet to get a couple of Rude engines out of, such a damned awkward shape that V4, and the V6 was just plain pug ugly (compared to a Merc, which is of course a piece of art)!
