Andy----I'll take what i can get, Roger Hinsdale, Gary Stray and many more have all given me props in the past. I manage to get through them at a prodigious rate of knots.
Slept through most of the night-------just a couple of coughing bouts------should be back in the saddle this morning.

My son Mark and his son Craig are running together in the opening P1 race in MUMBAI ------INDIA. first week in March--------They're not able to take the Geico P1 boat which Craig drove last year, so it should make for some interesting racing.--------will try to keep you up to date with what's happening.
Program is for a full weeks racing------ no doubt there will be a web site set up, so you can watch the races as they happen.

Hey everyone out there, sit up and take notice---------today , for the first time ever, I became a VIP ?
    VERITABLE IDIOTIC PERMUDGEON--------putetre
Not a lot of people know that-----I didn't even know about it until five minutes ago !
Now that doesn't mean the " Tricks " thread will be moved further up the leader board-------I think it's currently lying in 13 th spot .
Top spots are currently taken by all things MERCURY--------WILLABEE wheedled his way up to top spot-----( ex Mercury race team crew chief-------well known for blowing over tunnels ) .
Fujimo is right up there ------- he had a Kodak before Hitchcock----Hughes or Daryl F Zanuck------or Louis B Mayer---------and access to Mercury archives, but he knows how to milk the "Dot--Dot" with the best of 'em. He made his Mercury thread the fastest growing thread on S & F. He should overtake Tricks about midsummer.
Tricks is three years old this month------"Hot singles" been running ten years-------I figure Fujimo should have emptied the archives in three years-------approximately 3,976 photos and 100,000 posts ?
Told you my IQ was off the scale !!!!!!! But I'm modest with it ?

Whatever-------you gotta admit, the old "Outboard and racing history" site makes for some damn fine reading !

    So, beating the bushes some-
I have a few commitments for " a handful of props" from a couple guys Jackie- they are being shipped to me as I type
Im gonna keep ya busy for a while.

P-1 You say , I met and worked with Christian Parsons Young and James Norvill / 07 Team Barbados boat a few years back when they ran here in Tampa- great guys and we had a blast hanging out. I helped crew with them a bit over the weekend after some sly talking to get myself " in " lol .
    Good people. Small world .

As soon as I get the props all together- they are on their way across the pond to you Sr.

    Andy

My Grandson, Craig Wilson, ran with James Shepard in 07/08------they won the P1 World Championship on both occasions running the Fountain Worldide "99". King of Shaves.
Can't thank you enough for all the effort you've put into finding the props for me Andy----much appreciated.

Finally made big progress in the shop, all the boxes are empty, all the machines are nailed down and running--------hand held power tools still need a home, but I'm mostly there on all fronts ! Shed loads of debris to take to the dump------but it should be "Subject Normal" after Sunday.
Have some packing and posting to do next week------need to get the ship on an Evan keel------
Saturday is forage day-------things have been very quiet at the facility for the last couple of months, be nice to get some normality back again.

Must be losing my touch-------took all my scrap metal for a " Weigh in"------ recieved £15 !
Have all the metal I need at the moment--------did a dump run to Chichester-------was totally ruthless, hundreds of pounds worth of unwanted bit the dust.
If I haven't used it in the last year-----it's gone !
Two more full loads on the Lexus and I should see the wood through the trees------good job the dumps open on a Sunday .
Dumped the Little Rude I gave a tenner for a couple of years back-----pulled Warby's Spirit off the fire and the two Goonie Schooners------getting soft in the head.
Have a "NORTHFACE" hold-all full to busting of hand tools-----saws, drill bits, punches , tape measures set squares, cabinet scrapers, surforms, disc cutters and orbital sanders, they all have to go------there's no room at the inn!
Old workshop is now closed, finished, dead, morte, is no longer----its long gone------just like yesterday.
Hope I enjoy the new shop just half as much as I did the old one!
Sold the old compressor on eBay-----it made just £73 ------ went to a good home but it was well worth a couple of hundred-------some days you eat bear!

Another run to the rubbish dump-------the two goonie schooners were plucked out by the "Bin Vultures", but there were no takers for the black and decker band saw----straight down the Shute to the crusher. All the plastic Ikea boxes went into the melt. Back of the Lexus looks like a barn owls nesting box ! May have to give it a birthday treat with a £12:50 Valet from the Poles in the car park at Tesco's.

Thanks for the belated wishes Pilgrim, First "Belated" I ever had--------I've always wanted one but now you've provided the missing link---------Suppose it's a bit like a birthday card------stick 'em on the mantelpiece for two days, then bin 'em . But seeing as how you're a week late anyway, it must be like getting a card that's been lost in the post--------when you open it-----what do you do with it. .??? Keep it a couple of days and then bin it ?------or simply bin it straight after you receive it. Some days you eat-------

Things were rolling along quite nicely------I was actually able to walk round the new shop------in the front door ----out the back, without actually having to climb over stuff-------knew it could never last !

    "
Dahling"------whenever I hear that word I know SHE, the one who must be obeyed, wants something !!!
"Could you just fix me a couple of shelves in the broom cupboard, there only small ones, so it won't take long
! !it has been ordained it won't take long ,!

LOOONNNGGGG-------I suppose Long is just a word, "Not long" is simply two words----------long can be forever------not long can be ten years which is not quite forever--------a couple of hours in a broom cupboard composed of just plasterboard walls wth no available fixings just seems like forever ?
You do your best-----you pull skyhooks out of the hat, you do the impossible -------this is where 80 + years of craft, cunning and conniving come to the forefront -------I am magnificent--------I am the master--------alone and unaided I did it, me myself YEEESSSSS !
"Can't understand what took you so long-----they were only little shelves"

Remember what I told you about somedays eating bear!

, Workshop coming together nicely albeit slowly , workbench is clear of clutter and in Apple pie order-------I can start something and hopefully finish it without searching the streets for misplaced tools?
Welder is going to have to go-----I never had the use out of it I imagined!
Wood and metal store out the back needs a lid on it------the planks are covered with a tarp, but are open to the elements.
Its three weeks since we moved here, but it seems like we've been here forever------

Well, there's no way the Super Bowl was fixed--------not Hemingway, Steinbeck and Mark Twain working together could have dreamed up that particular saga--------was there ever a game anywhere that could come close? Not even in fiction, imagination, Or the Mouse himself could you dream up that one.
Made a change from all the the rigged "SPORTING" events that seem to be the norm these days.
Dont matter whether it's cyclists, soccer, horses, dogs, olympics, car racing and cock fights, there's always that stink of corruption which comes after the event.
Maybe I'm getting cynical in my dotage, but after the Lance Armstrong affair, I kinda lost my faith in athletes and sporting events. I stopped watching F1 cars, simply because I thought that the whole shebang was rigged.
FIFA proved that the soccer world was just a den of iniquity and now even mediocre players get paid fifty times more than the Prime Minister-------that's simply obscene! Sad part is, its you and me who pay their FECKIN wages, and the reason I refuse to pay any pat to view channel TV.
Murdoch and Branson are wealthy enough without any help from me.

Just refreshing to see a competitive game, made a nice change!
