Must confess to a touch of "puzzlement " about the boats_------ they're not a matching pair, anybody got any ideas?

Chap wearing buckle was part of Tom Percivals team for years went everywhere with him he was from Oulton Broad and used to race inboards in club events sorry I can`t remember his name he sometimes did scrutineering at Oulton broad on Thursday nights as well.I would guess this picture is at Bristol in 1980 Percy protest (which was Tom Percivals nickname ) drove a Seebold with 3.6 T4 Mercury that year while Bill won the race using a 4 litre T4 Mercury.The picture of the 2 boats has a Velden hull on top with the Seebold boat on the bottom.

Hell, Jackie, it has been 53 years since those shows came out. The fact that you even remember the "'hand" shows you still have some fire in the furnace....

I think the "FIRE" in the furnace is just a few embers left over after someone emptied the coffee pot on it ------then pissed on it to make sure the embers didn't get whipped up into a fiery furnace again-----
the "raging inferno" is now just a few gentle cinders-------although if the right person blew on it you could still toast a few marshmallows! colloquilly speaking that is ?
