Been a "Nicely, Nicely Wilson " day-------no disasters, but I'm getting good at tedious!
    18cylinder heads-----with fins-----18 injectors------18 fuel lines tapped and shaped--------about half way through.
Was going to do rocker boxes but with four to each pot-----No chance---hells teeth, I can't even count up to 72 let alone make the damn things. No, I'll pass on that one, after all-------it's ONLY a bloody concept !

done the pipe work for one bank of cylinders and it took me all day.
Now know what a metronome feels like, remind me never again to be a smart arse and take notice of Stavros!
Its beginning to look like it might belong to somebody but it's turning into a hard slog, glad I had a crack at it but I found my limitations!
I pad went down----lost all my passwords-----a real frog setting it up again.

Only got a picture Gene and it looks like there's four to each pot-----don't matter a damn anyway, there ain't going to be ANY rocker boxes------after this I'm swopping the workshop for a holiday! On my return I may take up religion and become a priest-----a male model-----maybe a chauvinist , a curmudgeon or a Republican?
I think "Piss Artists" have a good time, might try that!
To be honest I'm quite chuffed with the day's efforts ------proof of the pud though is whether or not my contemporaries will think it's acceptable as a "CONCEPT ".
My big problem is I have three experts in this particular field ( Wolfe---Sirois-----LANGHAM , there could be others lurking in the shadows along with the ghost of Billy Don P.
I'm in the running for a good slapping or a gentle pat, will know either way before the weeks out, decided to crack on with the R23800 'till it's finished .

Can you make it backfire? That's always exciting! Screw up the 4 finger start, and it can happen.

"THE FOUR FINGER START"!??? That sounds like something from Alexander Dumas, or "Fifty Shades"?
Enough already ---------that's another fine mess you got me into Stavros-----you threw me in at the deep end, but I've nearly made it to safe ground, I'm going to have the last laugh my old friend, this here concept is knicker wettingly good------close to being " highly desirable" I'd say.
Depends on the experts------if they take to it, then I'm in and it could make Tavares ----if not, it'll get relegated to the shed.
No more sneaky peekies 'till it's all done and dusted, got a clear and pleasant day planned with nose to the grindstone -------should all come together in a bloody great rush.!
Have to get a wriggle on--------just two weeks and I'm heading for the sun!

I've added a couple of pictures of the Diablo Concept (or whatever you call it) sporting its new counter rotating propellers. I have sent two of the propellers to John Schubert and one to Dave Bush for "Pughie". I got 12 of these from Terry Topjun, and will send the remaining ones to you this coming week. I also included the two black propellers that the Diablo Concept came with. Are there any other concept motors in the US that need propellers before I send these to the UK????? Let me know shortly. These props will handle the M4 screw size by drilling them out, but will work better with a smaller metric size. Terry didn't have any of the larger hub props left.
Take care....keep busy in the shop
    Regards,
    Roger

I sent the remaining ones to Jackie yesterday. They aren't expensive to mail....just the custom forms take some filling out.

Had a friend who used to rebuild old fire engines and very early vintage race cars------his name was Eric Weston---------he's been dead about 10 years but I watched him reclaim a 21 litre Racing Fiat motor that looks like your one Rich------was struck by how simple and agricultural everything was.
Pistons were over a foot in diameter .

All the boats that went to Tavares had yellow props (brass or bronze) on when they left here, maybe the customs inspectors thought they were gold.
Anyway, thank you for the props Roger--------my need is greater than Rich's-----I just have the one prop left that I put on each concept in turn. One day, I hope to find a supply that won't leave me without food and drink !

Made full use of the day-------no visitors------I refuse to have a phone in the workshop, waste too much time on the damn thing.
Finished the lump-----finished the mount-----just have the prop left to do-----then dismantle the whole shebang, final polish and rebuild------if it looks the dogs CAJONES then I'll post a piccie ------depends on the reception it gets as to whether it ends up in the shed or Tavares!
Keep looking at the LEMBKE concept------have it on the bench in front of me the whole time------nearly there, but not quite right, even for a concept. Buggered if I can put my finger on it, it'll come, right out of the blue.
Damned eyelids keep drooping, think their trying to tell me something--Night folks, MYGGWY.J.
