This Tuff is pretty light compared to some others and a 22 Progression. Sub 1000 lbs hull running solo and if running a battery on the lighter side solo {might} need a little tweek to the port?? Doesn't hurt to try. I just wouldn't call it a {bandaid} if it makes a boat fly without listing to one side. i agree that if you need to and have the onboard extra weight and can locate it to achieve the same result then thats the best, as you are not {Adding} weight to the hull. So if anything trying this out will tell you that and then all the stuff like oil tank, and battery placement, trim pump and anything else might find a new home. But its alot better to try it by a portable means to first see if it has any result than start re rigging before ya know how much difference you may need to offset for solo running.

The fastest side steer pad vee hulls on the planet pretty much all do this. If you have 650 lb hull and your motor is centered and your sitting on the starboard side at 200lbs a 25lb battery isnt going to help you from listing to the left. If your not counter steering as much you will have better thrust also at speed. The stream will stay more true. I also agree on props. Ive tryed many any some are for sure better than others for drive-ability. Youll know when ya find the right one right after you sold it to try another. haha

Its the little things that add up to allot.

Put the battery on the port rub rail.

I was told they are the most efficent because they don't have a 5th cyl to drag around (opti) or that belt drive high pressure pump (hpdi) holding them back.

Joe u know how I feel about you!! I don't wanna get into it with you but u did say it. I guarantee there are witnesses but don't wanna get them involved. Sorta like you said u were out infront until the very end of that run. I like you but we all know people in flat numbers on how fast they are. Just like the yellow boat went 102, now ur saying 95. When I got the boat it was lucky if it went 82. I don't know everything nor did I say I do. U my good friend know everything. Just funny cause my red boat beat the yellow one and ur 94 mph 21 superboat.

You know I took that post down because I wasn't sure if you guys were buddies, and as I've been kinda quiet around here I thought maybe not a good time to ruffle the feathers, but I'm glad you captured it and responded, I use to love getting on here on Thursdays after and evening at Tanner park ( I think that was it) it was all in good fun, now Joe seems to have a vendetta or something, pretty much nothing positive, weird when he use to seem like a good guy.
So yea like I was saying, hoping someone will step up, and hand him his azz on the water !

all i wanted was to give and get info on this tuff project, Im at the point now where I might just take this thread down and who ever want to learn anything from this project go buy one, it was out of the box for me to go white, and yes I make no bones about it Im struggling to get the results, but the boat was not set up right from day one, 18" of setback, inferior, steering, when I bolted that motor on I changed nothing, the Tuff in that configeration is a joke,

Joe you dont need any whitness's yes I said those things, Im not saying I didnt, so whats your point, are you trying to make me look like a liar? the truth is you took a very fast boat and yes that boat ran 102, and yes it ran over 95 with two people and yes my 21 ran 94 but in the end yes all you do is **** things up including that yellow boat
