Just hope there's the odd colonial out there who likes roses or I could be in deep compost!

It must smell wonderful when you take a rest in the garden. The pickle looks good too.

From now until December Dave, the garden is at its best, the scents are " FANTASTAMORGORICAL, JILLY puts an enormous amount of effort into it. She does have nothing but the best roses and its paid off, this is the fourth year we have lived here so she has more or less got it as she wants it

Been allowed one hour in the shop this morning, things 'ain't wot they used to be! Body don't come up to muster any more so have to compensate a tad! Will sprottle my way through until the pickle's finished, finish off all the golf trophies and then all the wings and Mollies that are nearly there.
Need to find thirty race props, the ones I like come from the USA, but are probably made in China, they still come out at $25/30 apiece. To put half a dozen on standby for future reference still makes a big hole in a $1,000. I know I could use plastic props at $10/15 a pop, but we then get back to the " Haporth" of tar syndrome. Some days you eat "Bar"!

Jackie: why not ask Ron Hill, Hill Marine and propellers, if he would cast several for an old fellow racer. It would be a fairly simple job with todays systems to shrink a std prop and cast some.

Haven't seen Ron in over forty years Johnno, did talk on line for a while but seemed to run out of conversation. I haven't done a serious search yet, but at these prices I have to do a lot of searching.
Next week Johnno, it's the Goodwood Festival Of Speed, they have the Le-Mans winning ROTORY Mazda doing the hill climb. Look on line for the full programme, it's a tad mind blowing. Will bring you the full brochure to Tavares.

Jackie, I am sure you've already done this but a google of "model boat propellers" brings up a rake of U.K. based prop suppliers,
that one in Banbury looks especially good.

Re Goodwood.....The past couple of years it has been live streamed all 3 days,so hopefully it will be the same this time,
this year will be the 1st one I've missed since it started....

Good to see you are on the mend and able to smell those roses...Phill

Been in Webbers Position a few times myself . Was surprised how many of the "Hybrids" were in contention
Might even give the Rotory a new lease of life if they ever learn how to run it on fresh airPilgrim.

Damn near midsummer already -------Bristol re Union been and gone----Le-Mans finished for another year, just a week to the longest day, then the downhill starts.
I wonder how many of you out there have a calendar of events to measure your year?

Talked to Mark about making me a batch of fifty model boat race props, tells me it's a "No Brainer" nobody would get involved, no money in it. I'm on the hunt for a bunch of 25/35mm Bronze/brass/steel or alloy props to finish off the 70/s concept boats I do as a hobby, if you know of anyone who has upgraded their old props, I'll take 'em.!

Jackie - How about these? They are not brass, but copper is close. The quantity is no problem and I am sure they would discount them for the quantity you are looking for.

Thanks Bob, been in touch with a half dozen Chinese firms, very few will mail to the U K, something to do with customs and excise. secondly, you get what you pay for, some of the stuff coming out of China is piss poor quality!
Would still prefer to use a good quality prop, but by the cringe, you have to pay the price.
