I don't want to waste a clean shirt if it's only you making the trip...
Now, I've done it a million times before , allow an hour for customs and baggage, wait at the barrier until said traveller appears, repair to aforementioned short stay car park-----whole feckin procedure takes around 30/40 Mins. Made a fundamental error! I forgot it was Seebold, he decides he's going to the cash mart and trade pounds and dollars, so he has to shop around to see where the best deal is, after all there's whole shed load of money being talked of here-----a whole $100.up for trade.
Finally track him down and back to the short term car park to find I have a bill of $100

unfortunately I don't feel so good, so Bill has gone down to Bristol with my three girls!

Jackie... sorry to hear you weren't up to snuff.I've just got back and was told about the neck.

I would love to tell you weather was crap, the water had 2metre waves and Steve Kerton did some p*ss poor demo laps and that the sound of his
Mercury sounding off the dock wall was really awfull................but I can't cos it wasn't..

Had a quick chat with Fred, nice chap....Didn't manage to catch Mr Seebold so '79 programme remains unsigned,no matter still a good day

    Get well soon..Phill.

Sam was on her iPhone all afternoon sending me pictures of Steve Kerton running around the dock, The BULLEN boys, Jenkins,Stevie Pinson, Dave Brocklington the Hauenstiens, Parkinson, Dewey, the Osprey boys, Tony and Linda Williams. The day was a complete sell out, every room, every seat at every table.
Some people ride a motor bike, while others kick a ball, but if you never raced a power boat, you never lived at all.
It's like the " Family" decided on a reunion to bring back a few fond memories and get all the friends back together Looks like it's working a treat.

Couldn't keep my eyes open any longer last night, due to pills and kids. Learned a long time ago to " go with the flow"
It looked like it was going to be an all night long party so doubt if there will be a lot of activity just yet!

Billy arrived back at the house around 2:30pm. Just him and Kimmy, she dived into the pool to cool off, we had dinner at 6:00.
Decided to watch the Canadian GP. Seebold fell asleep for the first 35 laps, waking up was a mistake, there were still 35 more miserable laps to endure--------had more excitement watching an egg boil, when the main topic is whether or not you can make the finish line before you run out of juice, and drivers are told to back off sooner or you won't make the finish line and this is supposed to be"FORMULA FECKIN ONE" the pinnacle of motor racing, you must be having a laugh.
That was without a doubt the lowest form of entertainment I have ever seen-------they even have the audacity to term it a race"Surmazes"me.
I will not be watching any more old tosh like that ever again?
Seebold slept through the last twenty laps, it was the honest thing to do.
Came to bed at 8:45 pm.

Quite right.. I was there, wishing I had made the trek to Bristol. Guessing that Al Pacino, Michael Douglas and Jackie Stewart left early for a smoked meat sandwich at Schwartz's deli.
Jackie, if you have some pics of the reunion to share, love to see them. Sorry to see that you couldn't make it and hoping you are on the mend. Give my best to Billy and looking look forward to Tavares in November

Jackie - AMEN on that hoping you are on the mend. As a matter of fact, all of us are requiring you to get better. BUT, don't push it. - PBS...You will have to ask Iris what PBS means...- PBS

Well, I'm still alive and kicking. To make it short , in simple terms, MY ARSE STOPPED WORKING---yup, something so ordinary and everyday, it worked faultlessly for 83 years, never giving a moments concern until two days before the Bristol Reunion, after five days, Wilson was really " Full of Sh-t".
The end came in the early hours of Tuesday morning -----there were the usual signs that come before tsunamis and volcanic eruptions------deep rumblings, much gurgling and an urgent need to run, anywhere.
So I ran, made the bathroom, but that was it, the rest was horrific , read about it
in nightmare on elm street six.
    Catch you so One!
