Art Kennedy was my mentor when I started series racing. I didn't give a rip what color he was. I was totally focused on his advice and experience.

Nah, i don't think there was anything wrong with the boat. Although it was never really a race boat as we know them .
went where you put it ——and with the canopy, drivers thought they were invincible!!!!!!! And familiarity leads to contempt !!!!!!!!!!!
ASSIM almost got it right after chucking shed loads of money at the project but he didn’t have the staff as they say.
As always in powerboat racing —too many rules and regulations enforced by authorities that never know as much as they think they do. Just occasionally they get someone onboard that really could be useful to the sport only for them to get overruled —out voted and generally disjointed .
Question begs ‘HOW COME THERE ARE UP TO 3OO VERY EXPENSIVE POKER RUN BOATS AT ANY EVENT —-YET ONLY 5/6 AT THE TOP RACES “?????????????
VERY FEW RULES FOR THE POKER RUNS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

First met ART KENNEDY along with his dad LUTHER at Havasu in ‘69 —- Don Ross and i were made very welcome at the OMC encampment. Went to the best SHRIMP BAKE ever by OMC !!!!!!!
That was back in the day of RON HILL—DEWITT—JIMBO—-MAY—-NORDSKOG—-KENNEDY—POSEY—-SANDERS and the like . Art was a racer and one of us —-end of !!!!!!!!!

Bench seats and Three on the Column. Those years are now in the rear view mirror.

We had 3 forward gear-shifting on the steering column in the States, but Jackie will have to inform us if they had it in England & Europe. Personally, I thought the shifting was simple and convenient.

”FOUR ON THE FLOOR !!!!±! THREE ON THE TREE “ !!!!!! These are very much “AMERICANISMS”

AFTER 1945 !!!!!!!! I cannot think of a single European vehicle that only had three gears !!!!!!!
”AUTOMATICS” were unheard of until the 60/s and were a very expensive extra .
Today i own the trusty Lexus F Sport 450 Hybrid. AUTOMATIC Wouldnt have it any other way. As for going ALL ELECTRIC ———-you must be having a laugh !!!!!!!! Ho-Ho_ho and a bottle of rum !!!!!!!!
How the hell the worlds car manufacturers and the public at large have been conned into thinking all electric is the way forward simply beggars belief !!!!!!!!!
My daughter refuses to plug in her MITSUBISHI SUV any more —— petrol is still cheaper than electric over here [ EVEN AT $10 PER GALLON].
