OK Gene I know you flew in the Bahamas I’m sure you have some adventures to tell but we won’t. But if you remember Walker’s Cay And the strip there I think you can relate to this story when my ass hole grab to seat. I was coming out of there in a Cessna 337 For a commercial fisherman to deliver 1000 or so pounds of lobster tails to Miami.I can’t remember whether I have 10° ofFlaps or 20° but I know I stood on the brakes and let the engines Build Max RPM and still almost got my feet wet. Pucker factor

Jerry Langer (EVINRUDE DEALER!) and I were partners in a new 206--I basicly learned to fly in that plane--

I was trying to build time by making deliveries for Jerry--I think I landed on every strip in the Bahamas--

The best stories are about dealing with CUSTOMS---

Arthur was none too pleased with the MOLINARI stripes -so i will take them off and redress with the correct attire . Benny is quite happy with his boat so I’m half way there. Just a bit more fernagling and i can shut the shop up for Christmas.
leaving for the BRITISH POWERBOAT RACING CLUBS annual Christmas lunch —starts at noon and i have to get across to the ISLE OF WIGHT.
Did fernagle them a nice offshore concept.

Remember the Good Ole Days, when we could drive from England to Italy and go boat racing.

And leave sunny Florida and drive into Havasu for a championship race.

We were free to roam, and we thought it would always be that way.
    Until ... What!!!
The bastion of smart people in Oxfordshire came up with LIMITATIONS.

P.S. What about those private air pilots, like in Colorado, they may get retracted to only takeoff & land at their home airstrip. I miss the Good Ole Days of freedom.

The question of the week: What do Gene and Jackie have in common besides blue jeans...??

Answer: They both know the best place to hide when the wives are looking for them with the "honey do" list in hand...

Chief Bullock was the Dade County Fire Chief when I was hired. I also started in EMS and made Lieutenant under him. He was a Fire Fighters Fire Chief. Years later when he passed away we sent a full building fire assignment for his funeral. It was my good fortune to be the Battalion Chief of that assignment.

I presented this particular concept to CHRISTIAN TOLL to raffle or auction off. He chose to auction . Guy who bought it paid £2100 sterling for it. Then presented IT to the COWES/TORQUAY organisers. To race for annually in the main race!!!!! Wonderful kind gesture.
took orders for three more concepts —- lord only knows when i will get time to do them.
Miles Jennings was there too —- he wants two more to give out as race prizes.
Have some great pictures of another wonderful historic building in COWES .
THE MAX AITKIN MUSEUM. some of the artefacts in there will make your eyes water—— priceless models of both power and sailboats .dating from the early 20th century

By the cringe it was a bit hutchy round the nether regions on the way to the island. -5 below when we left at 9-00am . Was a millpond crossing [first time in my life] which simply never happens in the Solent. Was still minus 5 on the return leg.
