GEORGE HOOVER was a wonderful man and a great friend who died last month .
After trying for a „“HOLE IN ONE“ all his life , he finally made one when he was into his eighties. I just had to make him a little concept to remember the occasion. So, i took a phaeton Düsenburg ———-

Thats the ride of MILES JENNINGS this weekend in Michigan.
Again it’s quite strange to think that next Tuesday he will be right here in SUPERSHED rummaging around —seeing what he can find that suits him. It’s what they do —- come for one thing and wnd up with ten.

Problem with that piccy is—-i have no idea what the topside and overall configuration is —it could be a mono except i KNOW it isnt !!!!!!!!
Do have a strange idea lurking around i can tame it, [but it would be a long term project] and it wouldn’t come cheap.
At the moment i am booked up until Christmas at least with „“commissions „“—- so i am working on ACTUALS and not FANTASIA‘S.
Have been promised the decals for the BEDFORD DAVEY/GARY GARBRECHT record breaking concept of which i have four, with two already spoken for. [MACH ONE].
Had a lot of trouble finding decent pictures i could work from on that particular boat. I still managed to cobble a fair facsimile though.
I will take them both down to Key west to see if there is any interest.
Not much good taking it the OFF meeting —all the old farts cry poverty and most have them have either acquired a Rolls Royce Silver Ghost or a race boat concept.

collected the FIREBLADE ———-WHAT A FECKIN RESULT !!!!!!!!!! Never in my wildest dreams did i think the bike could be this good——ITS MINT—-SHOWROOM CONDITION. Two owners from new . New tyres this week and the MOT in June.
Last owner has just packed in biking for good [weLL, he is 70 years old], even got the DARTH VADER skid lid..

Told you it was nice —-rides as good as it looks , but its a a tad too much like a racer —may have to swop it for a more sedate ride . Something like a biggish BEEMER . Early days yet . Good to feel like a kid again and its a bloody long time since i donned a lid.
