i know — i know johnno. I HATE CORRUPTION IN ANY SPORT —- athletics—-cycling —team sports — be it football —-cricket ——or motor sport . Once anything other than raw ability comes into play—i open my big mouth.

i did watch last weekends fiasco —- first F1 race i have watched in over three years .
i want be watching another any time soon .

I was once told that the quickest way through any terminal was in a cripple cart —- get a big guy [one Like FRED ] to push you, everybody moves ——VIP treatment all the way——- of course —if you’ve Turned 90 that helps— and the fact you damn well earned it.

That COMES from the greatest musician off all time [FIDDLER AND ARRANGER]— for over fifty years Bernie was ringmaster and fixer and all things devious in F1. Of course he did become a MULTI BILLIONAIRE in the process..
Fact is he was always a Warren Street car trader —- never gained respectability—- he didn’t care —he got very-very rich— crapped on everyone — now he’s pissed because Lewis got a knighthood and he didn’t. You think im kidding —— believe me i am not . Read his autobiography. I’M NO ANGEL. —-CAPONE AND LUCIANI were merely “ ENFENTE TERRIBLE” compared to Bernie —— he could—would— and did fix everything. Sounds very much to me like you have a real Australian point of view Pilgrim—— plus a dislike of the royal family too.—- Windsor’s do not decree who receives a knighthood —— merely distribute —as you well know !!!!!!!

Hamilton has given services to motor sport for over thirty years —— is not a rich mans son [as so many in F1 are]—- started at the lowest tier of motorised sport and reached the top.

It was only laying dormant Johnno —-it never goes — its the nature of the beast within —— at my age i have long since stopped biting my tongue and accepting things as gospel >

Now there’s a real interesting article. It looks like its solid brass — but it its not, its filled with lead and has a one inch thread stitched into it. Thats where the wire is anchored —- has a metal triangle handle from whence it is hurled at maximum velocity as far as possible .
Has been an Olympic brute strength test for hundreds of years .
