My, how the mighty have fallen —— made this some ten years ago—- was never one of my favourites , didn’t have the heart to bin it, so i chucked it under the laurel hedge four years ago when we moved here . Just uncovered it again now we are on the move . Might have to bin it after all.

Sorry Ken, its the way of the world—- some days you eat bear !

How about this one Gene—— just for you, the one you always wanted, has the length, comfortable capsule ——air Con. sprung seats and triples . Bit like todays racers ——— spoiled rotten, all the comforts of a sitting room. No opening your mouth when it rains to quench the thirst ????? Nobody believed it anyway !!!

Course——with the pipe, its a thousand horsepower apiece . On a tunnel —- with a centre console. Not much change out of a lot of money !!!!! But, i don’t ever remember any innovative boat not getting sold , do you ??????

Talking of innovative boats, my son Marks 50’ twin diesels pushing a pair of heavy duty trouble free Arnesons and WILSON/ROLLA. Props. Fly by wire controls —— elevating cockpit —- outside dining and kitchen — absolutely bristling with all the latest technology. He built it over a period of eight years for him and Vicky to cruise the world on.
Unfortunately Vicky is not going to make it. Mark has decided the boat has to go. —- its fully sorted, runs sixty plus {through anything} on a thimbleful. Probably the most innovative 50’ boat on the market today. Done the Bimini run a couple of times . Low hours. If you are interested call Mark Wilson at Wilson Custom Maine. I will give you his number, but only on a PM .

seems so long ago that im damned if i can remember. Chris Hodges was instrumental in designing the plug . Took forever to get it exactly as Mark wanted it. Nothing but the very best of everything was ever used . Even the bow thruster was custom made. It has the largest fishing cockpit of any boat i ever saw. Something like 20’X8’. Air con everywhere . Fridges and freezers and ice makers , king size beds wine coolers and a HI-FI that can be heard clear across to Cuba . Underwater flood lights that change colour all the time , searchlights , spotlights bow lights ——- no expense was spared — cost was well in excess of seven figures . But then again , there never was a boat ever built with so much attention to detail. He called it “MOONLIGHT LADY”. Even the tender is called “LITTLE MOONLIGHT LADY”

Blue arsed fly has it easy compared to me .
Selling up all my gear, consequently folk are falling over each other to buy it all, fratching and arguing over who bought what. I put twenty five old dinky toys up for sale ———12 people wanted to buy them. I was asking Ł50 for the lot. Nobody tried to buy it cheaper—- one guy offered Ł75. No prizes for guessing who got the cars ! Rest of them thought i was an asshole. Just can’t win some days.
Buying another house —- lawyers are overwhelmed —takes twice as long to do any transaction. Buyer wants in—-seller wants out—— lawyers and officials take out handkerchief and wipe sweaty forehead, im too busy . Wait until this is all over. Screw the banks and credit cards —- i want back to ready cash and a handshake. And a biscuit tin under the bed . Plus the right to kick the crap out of any SOB who tries to rob me .
TAKE A KNEE ???????? Take a hike——- does that make me a bad person because i believe all folk are basically good. White, black, darker shade of pale , yellow as a sunflower — colour don’t mean a thing or make a difference. So, don’t start telling me what i should and should not do, think or believe, my sainted mother did a pretty good job of that some eighty years ago . Oh by the way—- i have had a thick ear—— a sore arse and my mouth washed out with soap. Never stopped me loving and respecting my parents, teachers and elders.
If im honest , i still think there’s not a kid living that doesn’t need a slapped arse at some time in its life .
Sorry about that—- just a Sunday morning rant—- sometimes you just have to say it the way it is— doesn’t do any good —— and yes, i do feel a little better.

See that’s the one i mean !!!!!! The one i was telling you about. Had a buyer in Kansas, but i guess he chickened out as there’s not a lot of water in the state. Upshot is—- i still have it . It’s one of the bigger models . How about $300 and i swallow the postage ? Bet you either Cadillac or Scotty B. buys it !

This is a mixture of exotic hardwoods , boat is ODELL’S MONA LOU. It’s still in the raw —- no drives or even a paint job, but anyone can see what it is. Another blast from the past. Anyone out there with enough ambition and balls to take it on and finish it ???

Did old Warby,s AUSTRALIA RECORD BOAT some ten years ago. Was a big bugger, and solid . Weighed a half hundredweight, Painted it white and forgot it—. When we moved i chucked it under the hedge for safe keeping. It will make an evenings burning on the wood store .
