Ok, we got a Brexit deal, thats good for everyone, especially the eu countries. We have our independence back.
the oxford vaccine is a success and is a normal vaccine, no sub zero storage and two stage shots, starts next week, should get mine in about November 2021, they are doing it in alphabetical order. Being 89 has bugger all to do with it , does not enter into the equation.
Good thing about the oxford is, there aren’t the side effects that the Pfizer has. And another benefit, it costs about a tenth of its counterpart.
if you wonder how come the new stronger strain of virus started in Kent . All the illegal immigrants land in Kent, its closer to France than any other county. All the European trucks come through Dover, which is in Kent. Its not rocket science, just common logic.

Sold my planer/thicknesser yesterday. I shall miss it, even though i only used it occasionally. Was a cut above the average with a three blade block. I just have too many of everything, i have to slim down some.
Started off selling some machinery and hand tooling, a month in and im doing more swopping, buying and selling than ive done in the last 25 years.
Plus theres nearly five grand in my wallet and bank combined .
Lot of the gear ive had for damn near fifty years. Some of the swop stuff comes and goes on a daily basis. Everyone wears a mask, makes it feel like a covert operation and highly illegal, but i can assure its not—— just a sign of the times .
Had three christmas dinners so far and im all TURKEY‘D out,
Ever noticed around this time of year how everybody’s fart stinks of sage and onion stuffing ?
Ah well, another day, another doller , nothing changes, sane old world keeps on going around , except it has changed , and a lot.

Great.........now we can argue about vaccine brands like we do over outboard brands and race boats? Don't care if you freeze it or boil it, just as long as we have it now. You can't get into the USA from the UK now unless you test negative. The walls are going up again and travel clamped up. Alphabetical? How dumb is that? Should be by risk group. Health workers, first responders, old geezers to begin with. Even our grocery workers are at the top of the list. From there on down it gets pretty weird. Even our politicians think they should be at the head of the line LOL. Testing? Now they have a home test kit the size of a stick of gum! Have a family member who got COVID19 and it whalloped the heck out of him. Weeks later he gets tested for antibodies and it comes up negative? Now I'm thinking it will be spring of 2022 before "normal" returns.

Fact is water zebra, very few folk would queue up to enter the USA. In the present climate, me included . Dont doubt for a minute the politicians have managed to scare the crap out of me , with facts and figures that may or not be the truth.
one question that nobody seems to want to answer in any country anywhere is quite simply this ——how many people died ,in any given country during 2019. Compare it to the number of deaths in 2020, HOW MANY MORE HAVE DIED THAN IN THE PREVIOUS YEAR ???????? TWO DAYS TIME ,ITS THE YEAR END, SOMEBODY MUST KNOW.
Depends what frame of mind you’re in , whether to laugh or cry about the bloody silly BLM nonsense. King Henry the eighths wife ANNE BOLYNE was a black woman. IDRIS ELBA English actor and again black wants to play James Bond because there have been too many white 007’s. Now i wonder why that is . They are making a film about the life of Lewis Hamilton, . Thats good. How about Tom Cruise for the lead part. Lets have Celine Dion playing BILLIE HOLIDAY and Stubby Kay playing Louis Armstrong . Told you before, common sense went out the window and hasn’t come back yet.

We are now in tier three of lockdown with tier four looming ever closer. Everything is either closed or going to be. The end of the high street as we knew it. Shops that stretch back a hundred years or more have closed their doors for good.
Heres where common sense kicks in , little grey cells are wondering where all the money is coming from to pay for all this.
Government been chucking money about like confetti. All the counties are virtually skint, now theres only one place that taxes can come from———folk like you and me . Hard working ,intelligent human beings that saved and sacrificed . Paid our taxes the first time. Now it looks like they are going to chase us to pay for everyone else’s bills.
Well, SSIP ON YOU RETSIR, for over 75 years ive been milked dry, Thats it, im done . Go raid the pharmaceuticals. They will be the only ones left with a cash flow to tax.

. We had the water silenced exhaust system in Europe. Then a more or less straight through in Parker. One sounded like a street muscle car, the other like a proper racer, above 7000 it started to “Howl”. Quite an unforgettable sound, unlike anything else.
Around that time the COSWORTH’S limiter was set on 10000, even a Keith Black motor would fly to bits over 7500.
COSSY had a much wider useful working range , plus , it would run beyond 24hours non stop with absolute reliability.
Was Mitch Lembske who finally got the Parker job done a few years later with a V12 WESTLAKE JAGUAR. In a Seebold hull. Officially it was a Sidewinder. Called ????????? I forgot , sorry.

Jackie you may already be aware of this, but in the latest (Feb 2021) edition of CLASSIC & SPORTCAR there is an enquiry from a chap asking if you are still “with us” it concerns the yellow Dino. It’s on Page 51...A letter back to the Mag with a picture of the Cosworth might be in order...

You can tell em yes with absolute certainty im still “With Us” Phill.
Chas Shooter Bought his Ferrari Dino first, so i had to have one. We would often meet at WATFORD GAP on a summer evening and race side by side down the M1 . Both cars had a top speed of 150 mph.
My Yellow Porche 911S was slightly faster at 152 mph .
Never did have the Aston Martin DB flat out , it used to become a bone shaker at 110, eyeballs used to shake and it was impossible to see.

Jackie. This is your big chance to contribute to Britains best selling car mag! don’t go all shy on us. Get a copy of the mag and e-mail what you have just written to me to them.. With any luck they may even do a feature on you. I’m sure a lot of boat people are into cars..
