Like I said Pilgrim———- who gives a flying fart as to whether it’s a one off—— a special edition——or a hybrid ! Looks to me like it was only a road tax dodger in Japan—— and a freaky car in the rest of the world.
One things for sure——- it never made old bones—— maybe a few “.Rotory afectionados” loved it, but it never took the place of the Vee dub beetle——- the ford cortina or the mustang. Still don’t see many rotaries in production cars these days ?

Are you still trying to decide what to do for the gallbladder issue? I can tell you that they can be extremely painful. My doctor told me that they are on the same pain level with childbirth. Mine always seemed to act up at night while I was trying to sleep and with that much pain, there was no sleep. I was glad to get it removed. Very simple day surgery - back home the same day and quick recovery within a day or two.

We, or rather she herself has decided exactly what to do about the gallstones. Keyhole surgery, soon as possible. That’s been decided, just the process of arranging where and when —— the surgeon and the availability of theatre time !
Hip replacement went ok, all going as planned, down to one walking stick. Just a slow old process, which is a tad frustrating for someone as active as the kitchen goddess.
This new problem is a trapped nerve which is creating havoc and giving pain and sleepless nights, she reckons it’s worse than childbirth (she did have three).
So, it’s off to the physio—— first appointment we could get is 14:00hours today.
Afraid I dropped the TV remote into a glass of water last night, fried it nicely, smoke came out of it——- pulled it all apart, dried it all out, replaced the batteries, all to no avail——— it’s brown bread!
That didn’t go down at all well, plus I couldn’t get the set to work on the manual keys.So ended a bad day. “ SOMEDAYS YOU EAT BEAR”.

After surviving hip surgery, gallbladder surgery is a walk in the park. She will have two small horizontal incisions directly under the rib cage - about 1/2" each, one one each side. The third horizontal incision is directly under the belly button and about 1-1/2". The pain of the surgery is nothing compared to the pain of stones in the gallbladder. Wishing her all the best...!!

Bobby Vee, that’s right nice of you, Problem is, if I tell the Rottweiler, Bob sends his best, she will rip my throat out for even mentioning her problems. I have to tread carefully here——- reprisals and repercussions are something I definitely don’t need to get into!
Took her to the physio this afternoon—— turns out it’s using the single crutch walking, has dislodged the muscle that trapped the nerve.
That makes for a very volatile person who sleeps next to me——- talk about walking on eggshells——- mouth is firmly zipped shut, long before she herself takes it into her head to shut it for me.
Wind took a fancy to the new Sunbrella And hurled it across the garden to destruction——- on close perusal the brolly part that gave up the ghost
is made of plastic and a wire in China —— meant to last no more than a month in the sun with no wind ! Realised it’s not beyond the wit of man to knurdle up a couple Of devises that would last the lifetime of the brolly and cause no problems ever again , even in a gale force eight.
This is the second time it’s happened——- knew then I should have replaced the top and bottom——- not to worry, it’s done now——- from hereonin we’re cooking with gas.
Been a stone bitch of a day, —— finally got a couple of hours in the shop, had to leave a couple of concepts out in the rain——- bad decision!!!——- pockmarked the surfaces of a couple of the boats——— bugger to get the marks out!
Two days without TV—— bliss —— but after calling in smart friends and clever neighbors, plus a new remote, damn thing refuses to fire up and her who shall be obeyed at all times is not a happy bunny.
Bloody amazing how all my grandkids are unavailable when I need em most .
Do have the five 500 R. Merc Marauders with the single tuned stack roughed out and mounted on the bum of the forty foot tunnel———- Called it “PONY EXPRESS “——- you don’t even want to know!!!!!
Hoping to make further inroads into the latest concept——- I’m getting withdrawal symptoms from spending so little time in the shop.

Air what Fuji?——- ah yes, conditioning! ——— of course we have——- that’s when you open all the windows——- all the doors——— and let the wind whistle through the house!
Got a question for You Fuji!
Came across a guy who was selling thousands of motoring books and memorabilia——— picked up two or three American Auto Books——- very old ones ——— starting with Stutz—— Aubern—— Mercer, Duesenburgh as well as Ford, Packard and Studabaker.
Was a couple of INDIANAPOLIS 500 posters——- SO, question is——- What year is this?

To think——- there was a rake of stuff on that stall, all relating to American Motoring history. I just picked up three books and a few bits and bobs! Cost me all of three quid !
Been promised a morning to myself——- that’s after the dog walking and the plant watering, and breakfast, (about 8:00 am), I should be in the shop for at least two hours.
Have a couple of friends coming for lunch along with my sister at the Chichester Yacht Club today——- Jilly can’t make it Unfortunately. First time I’ve found time to get down there this year, usually I manage about six visits a year——— be lucky if I get there twice this year!
Having a crack at a centre console with a hard top Bimini and Radar arch——- no telling what sort of mess it’ll turn out like——- still, nothing ventured——- nothing gained !
Kept the sponsons in polished English Oak ( for the time being)——- Mark is planning to visit for a week in August——— ne might decide it should be painted, we’ll wait and see.
Her who sleeps next to me has just announced she’s coming to the woods to walk part way with me and the dog——- claims she’s going “STIR” staying indoors——— This should be interesting?

Well, her majesty made it—— a good half mile into the forest and back.
Didnt have the heart to tell her I don’t ever walk the dog THAT far——- no telling the consequences.
Madame reckons she’s well enough to go to the Yacht Club for lunch——— will probably have to give her a “Piggyback” on the way back ! Some progress I suppose.
