I remember seeing on youtube Chip Romers 36 skater run at lotto in 2011, the GPS read198 and the official radar was 191. Hauling ass.

It is a 28SS OB. Web site says 4700# w/o power! Wow, my 28 Skater w/ 300xs's and power steering is 3950# total including oil in tanks. Amazing speeds for that boat!

They are claiming 3% slip. Amazing, Dale Razor was at 6.88% on his 120MPH run with 35, 4 blade Dewalds. My best slip no. is 9% with 34.5, 4 blade Dewalds. Are the 5 blade props all getting that low slip no's on 400's?

I ran a max5 and got 7.6% slip (single engine = more slip). Other props I tried were 12 (promax) to 20+ (bravo1). To go fast with the hd sportmaster you have to run it very high so you need the extra blade area the max5 offers.

If he can get it to accel. in 3/4 of a mile, he will be the fast man in the 28 ft. 400 o.b. class. Paul does it right and sets things up to get the max. out of all of his rigs.
