Bigger then the 38 and totally new design. Targeted to run 160 with 860 pkg. Its off the charts cool and coming soon.

I think they are selling for less then Chris was able to on his own. I wish them the best, he sacrificed a lot in his first attempt.

Sounds pretty amazing Joe, it would be the first 40 footer to break 200 with a pair of 1350s!

Maybe, but I think the lust for those speeds is pretty much over with all of the loss that has happened in recent years. The upside is that the 860 package should run for a couple hundred hours without having to be opened up and we get the thunder back with no turbos...

Just kidding with those shots Double Rigged. Iconic does know how to construct boats though and will get these out the door at a better price point, so that is a plus.

I agree, The more the better and at a cheaper price may drive the cost of the others down as well. One can only hope as the premier builders pricing is off the chain.

Yes but didn’t Iconic already kick Chris to the curb? Regardless, never been a Fountain fan and Iconic has no real tradition or history so I’ll just leave it at that.

Chris and Dustin are still with them as far as I know. I don't of anyone that was more passionate and confident in his product then Reggie. He did everything he could to bring offshore boats into the main stream and built brand awareness like no other. I was a total Fountain fan at a young age due to Jim DeMaagd buying a new 10 meter executioner in 83'. That boat had 440s with Gil exhaust and #3s on it (74 mph). Jim Jr. at 12 yrs. old, myself 13 yrs. old, got to run that boat like it was ours while his dad would take the big sea ray and meet us at the next port as we went up the lake. I knew that I wanted one as soon as I was able to pull it off. I got my first 35 lightning when I was 21 "fountain of youth" nobody believed that it was mine "financing was different back then".

    .

I recognized Chris' signature resin infusion setup on pics of the Fountain 32 cat infusion. It appears he is working still with Fountain to build the cats? Also, I hope Fountain starts building the 32CC using Dustin's designs of the 32CC. The center console on the CC version with the hard top is so bad ash and looks to be very aero-dynamic!

...and like the 360, the 440 will bypass the plug development and go straight to building the (female) molds

Yes for now. Those temp molds patch so easy if needed and seem to be holding up incredibly well so far. I can't wait to see the big boat and go for a ride. It will be my new dream boat.
