lol,,,,now sounds like fountain #s,,,, when add in the beak and the swim platform
the Excalibur has a 1 3/4" splash ledge under the rubrail then a 3/4"-1" rubrail
so that's 2 1/2"-3/4" pr side flare out @ the top deck
as the hull measures 6' 1/2" at transom below the slpash ledge and only 5'9 1/2" at bottom of hull corner to corner
glad you have picked up making the hulls as I like the way they go across snotty water
as measuring the bottom that hits the water not up high at top deck when it flares out at the rubrail
to get the wetted running surface #s

You know the 27 hull 5ft 9.488189in = 176.5 centimeter from lower corner to corner on the transom.

I measure where she's widest over all - and that's just in front of the wind fairing - 6ft 5.755906in =197.5 centimeter - pretty much 6.6ft

Noli, out of curiosity, what is the boat next to the DW with the 400ROS on it?

AZ, not sure which boat that is. But look at the second pic above...looks like they bought a pair of 400ROS and rigged the 400ROS onto that boat you're inquiring about

    could those 400ROS be from Rice's 36 Skater? ==> http://www.screamandfly.com/showthre...27#post2937327

Second pic is where I noticed the ROS and the 3rd pic you see the hull. A capped hull and I don't see any steps on it either.

That blue 36DW is one of my favorite boats, but they ruined it for me painting the motors - I like Mercury motors to always be black. That boat next it is a 318 - I believe it is this one that went to PBC a while ago. They said it was going to get paint, didn't know it was going to get ROS motors also!

Thought it was a 318 but I could not see the steps on it. Wonder if those were the ROS from the cut down 36 that Skater was selling?

That is Jimmy's skater "freaky fast"... He is waiting for the new motor release before he rigs his DW and has another one of Doug's new models on order as well.

This is his 32DW waiting for the next gen motors, correct? I didn't know he was the buyer for that 318 - thought he'd moved on from buying boats from Pete. Surely he's got a 36DW on order as well.

I have no idea - but it's crazy to me that they would rerig that boat with ROS after Matt pulled them off his 368 because of the problems they were having.

    Dale,

I don't think he's too worried. The next boat from Doug is bigger then a 36- I am not the guy to announce it but its going to be really nice.

Think that 36 had them sitting too close to the water and they wouldn't idle when the back of the boat was dipping. 318 might have them sitting up better. Spit balling here of course..
