Fortunately Gene, we don't have bears in England--------that is GRIZZLY, KODAK, POLAR type bears-----except in zoos and the stock exchange and of course Bernie Ecclestone . Though Bernie may feel like killing someone, I think it would be the liberty media mob that caught his attention. Have to admire their style , lure him in with the big bucks, then nail him to the wall and hang him out to dry, after all, it's only what Bernie has been doing to everyone he ever dealt with over the last 50 years.

Made a little more headway in the shop, but as I closed the doors last night and looked back inside, there still looked to be shed load still to do !
A couple more shelves to construct-------decided to take the legs off the wood lathe and build a bench with fitted cupboards under it, need every inch I can get and that seemed sensible.
Bloody Thursday again tomorrow-----been one of the coldest January's on record and I don't like working in the cold------I freeze down to half speed and spend more time cogitating than actually doing. May have to put in a blow heater or some other form of heating device------fingers were a bit like frozen sausages most of the day. See what the day brings shall we.

I have a very small collection of books, most of them are autobiographies ------i.e.; David Niven, Jackie Stewart------Sevvy Ballesteros------including "Angel", Bernies attempt at literature and justification.

Do have a half decent IQ which has seen me in and out of all kinds of trouble ----- but on the whole I've gotten by.
Only a FECKIN moron with his taste buds shot to pieces would eat a bacon sarni with BROWN SAUCE anytime------let alone every day for breakfast.
He made F1 what it is today -------everyone in the world wanted to be Eccleston's friend------he was the original "STICK WITH ME KIDDO AND WE CAN GO PLACES".

Did my usual Thursday trip to the car boot sale, never got above freezing today. All the stall holders had snotty icicles hanging off the end of their noses collective total enthusiasm could have been stored in an egg cup.
Never bought a damn thing in case I had to pick it up and carry it, which would have meant taking my hands out of my pockets!
Made decent strides in the workshop-------taking shape nicely but slowly. To be honest my rate of progress would not warrant any wages, snails are bloody racehorses compared to me.
Actually have both lathes up and running, emptied another two plastic boxes full of tools, now making up all the little tool holders and shelves and drilling holes so that everything has a place. Might be ok after all !

Had a full day hanging up all the everyday tools and chucking out many tools I no longer use, haven't posted a piccie as the place is in such a damn mess-------much more space to get around in now, but light years from actual readiness.
Saturday and time to forage down at the old recycling facility------it's what I do ! ------a creature of habit ? -----well maybe, but I don't think so.
I will try anything new, ( if it suits ME )------I am not a stick in the mud-----yes I do have opinions, and views that are peculiar to me-------I hate the politically correct thing with a passion, there are more evils hidden under the cloak of "PC", than are caused by just coming out and saying what you think! But that's not PC.
WELL,tomorrow is when we have a family get together to celebrate my birthday------told everyone I don't want presents------I still have a drawer full of socks, ties, handkerchiefs and smellies left over from last year-------I want for nothing , just bring yourselves and let's celebrate making it through another year.
Marks boat is near ready and should be launched in time for his birthday in march, him and Craig are racing together in Mumbai, also in march-------quite a while since a pair of "Wilsons" raced together.

Life is like a box of chocolates as Forest used to say-----you never know what your going to get next. Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine I would become the proud owner of a Bentley W12 Continental Convertible , complete with Nine spoke alloys------full leather seat------fully automatic------super slick transmission with a choice of sport mode or town and country! Full surround sound-----LED LIGHTS-----and Winkie blinkies -----all the Bentley badges and motifs are intact.
Had a minor confrontation with a small tree which kinda scuffed the near side front fender and wiped out the mirror-------it's the hybrid version of course-------just one careless previous owner.
May surprise you to learn , that although it runs like clockwork and is in pristine black with less than 100 miles on the clock, yours truly was able to twist the vendors arms until they met in the middle coming back.
certainly one of the better deals of my life!

course, I may require the help of Bob V to swivel the pickies around a little------I may be the dogs cojones when it comes to wheeler dealing-----but as my grandkids keep telling me -----"Grandad, you're crap with pictures".
