Gene, granddaughter Kate showed me how to do that, go advanced, edit, hit the double square, do you think the bloody thing would work for me ? I'll get her to show me again today------and she did it on my old iPad.
Had a wedding rehearsal on the front lawn yesterday-------the bandstand doubles as a church for weddings---------wonder what they use for funerals in this neck of the woods-----probably a fishing boat and a plank!-------with a sheet of white linen-----didn't see a single headstone on the lawn.
Todays the day, it's what we all came here for, all the pomp and circumstance of a Florida wedding, not to mention the expense------makes me remember my own wedding-------register office, four witnesses , a vicar and change out of a hundred quid from the dinner afterwards
i could have bought not only a house, but the whole bloody street for what this one is costing. Still, it's another of life's little experiences!
I passed on the jet--skis, not too much damage, two collisions and a bridge came out and hit Kerry!
Gary offered to put me in the big GEICO boat next week, says they have it running pretty good and at 140 it's rock steady and a nice ride, see what it's like on Monday before deciding.

Fifty years on, you can look at one of those big old Mollies and you know none of them would ever make old bones--------they were born to flip, those that didn't never had pilots with balls big enough to take em to the limit, and yes I know all about Sirois in Havasu 1970 "Up, Up and away"-------Pruett did just that the following year in the same boat.
Jim Hunt towed the wreckage from Havasu to Oskosh where they burned it.
Dont believe Pruett ever sat in a circuit boat again. After he tore his hip out, that famous lurch of his became a limp.
Wedding all over and done with, I called it a day about ten but the party is still going on------not a single fight, nobody fell out, and not a single person threw up. (YET)
Some of these Porto Rican ladies really do know how to shake their hips, could set you all of a quiver if your not careful.!
Absolutely bushed, but will do some piccies tomorrow---Night all, MYGGWY. J.

Hey Gene, how 'bout that, I got it right, five upright guys-----maybe there's hope for me yet, what d'ya say ?
Left to right, grandson Craig, he's the one just got married, Mark, my son, man in black is me myself, next is Gary, (he's married to my eldest grand daughter Louise and is GEICO crew chief). Last one is Simon, my grandson, (best man and married to Kerry)
Picture taken at Hawks Key yesterday.
I know I waffle on a lot about me and mine, but I thought you might like to put a face to a name. All these guys have been to Tavares, so most of the old farts are familiar with them already .
Craig has his own little "MISS GEICO" an old P1 boat that needs sorting, next race is Marathon----just down the road apiece, then there's Sarasota in the summer. If you attend any of these meetings, just drop by and say hi, every single one of these guys are nice people.
Have a couple of days total relaxation coming up before heading out on US1 Sunday morning, hoping to catch up with some of my long time friends. Lassie, Jonesy, Richie, Paul Goddard, Hawkeye, Seebolds-----just never enough time to pack it all in. I did tell you, life's a bloody helter skelter out of control unless you apply the brakes occasionally.
I got all the time in the world for the next two days, so I'll probably bore you with a few more posts later.

Mind you, you have been "at it" a lot longer than me and must be so much older ?

My grandfather and my father were master bakers, I followed on and served my seven year apprenticeship-----went to night school, earned my city and guilds. Part of the deal was to become a master cake decorator. Did all my children's wedding cakes except Marks, he buggered off and married Vickie without telling me, which pissed me off enormously. I've done several of my grandkids wedding cakes, so you can imagine my reaction at seeing the collection of sticky bun cup cakes that passed for a wedding cake-------my dad and his dad would not just turn in their grave, they would have been positively spinning.
End of the day it's another example of how old skills will be lost forever and the art of cake making becomes a sticky chocolate bun or rather fifty sticky chocolate buns on a stand!

Jackie - if you have time to kill in the Keys, go down to the Lorelei Resturant in Islamorada and find Don Simonson from Mercury - he is a regular customer there as is Rob Sheets, another Merc guy. Not far from the Salt Water version of Bass Pro Shops on Islamorada.

Ok ok guys just let me get over the champagne hangover. If I had to venture outside the resort behind the wheel of even a golf cart------local law dogs would stick me in the bad boys room and throw away the key. It's not easy trying to be good. May be early evening before they open the gates and set us free_____Chef Michaiels and Lorelie----sounds like exciting biting to me.
Bloody hell but that Suns all stoked up and chucking out heat today, covered in factor fifty but still managed to look like a chimps arse ----
