Hey guys,
Last weekend we had a race here in south of Brazil, check it out the video of my class: V1700cc
I started in second position and finished in fourth position. We had 9 boats racing in a retangular courser.Last edited by rodrigokrug; 03-23-2016 at 12:33 PM.

Didn't the round cowl come out in 1991 or 1992? and then first on the V6 and then a bit later on the V4

Round cowling came out in 1990 on both the V4 and V6. Originally Posted by Wayne Cammidge

May have been a bit different here, but then I have never really been a Yamaha man, so it could have changed here earlier than I remember , also may have had old stock that they needed to clear before they released the newer engines.

WOW I USED the bungee system back in 1969 it does fverything you said no power str back then used it on my carlson contender drilled hole in edge of cav plate s hook to stern eye 2 0r 3 strands for pre-load! and i thought i invented that.

Finally, after a ton of work my Yamaha V4 is back to life, better as before!!
RPM: 6800
Prop pitch: 26
Speed: 115 Km/h
There is somethings to do, I need to lower a little bit the motor heigh. I believe I can get 120km/h next time
