    Great thread
How about degreeing the exhaust port just put something accros the piston and into the port and wind it till it locks so you can compare the port heights in degrees and not height.

Tough to say but based on speed using the HP calculator I think we are around 180 or so.

Just back in town from the Suwanee event. Lots of video was taken I have to get from the other guys.
On Saturdays morning run I think I was still the slowest boat LOL. Dave ran 127, Bishop, 106, etc.

We lauched the boats at 7:30am and it was 46 degrees. The others were milling around so I ran down to the spot and it was a sheet of glass with a thin layer of fog just over the water. Very cool looking. I went ahead and started easing it up seeing how it felt and never even went above neutral trim. She felt completely planted and on rails so I stayed in it and it stopped at 101mph. I did show Bishop my GPS zerod out before and 101 after the run for good measure.
After the other guys ran I went ahead and made a second pass getting up to speed a little quicker. I wanted some video and she ran 101mph again.
When I get the video Ill post in general boating. I want to thanks everyone who has helped me get there.

Just ran the numbers and my prop slip (same prop) was down from 9.46 on the 97.4mph at 7100rpm run to 3.67 on the 101mph at 9620 run.
Strange as I actually had a little cup taken out of the prop (same prop both runs). Boat likes the extra setback I guess.

I got this pic from the run. Again, I was being very conservative with the trim. This pic looks really wet. Much more so than previous top end runs. Theres definitely more there but I honestly have no reason. I knew it felt really planted but the number was there and I had no desire to bump it up. Ill bet theres at least a couple more in it based on the trim but it could also be a blowover. Im very happy with what it ran at a safe trim level.
