My boat isn't built for speed but I can tell you that with 3 men on board, fishing gear and 250Litres of fuel approximately 2.5 metric tonnes it gets to terminal velocity 50MPH very quickly. They are very torquey motors, you could be fooled that you are in a 16ft run about it accelerates so hard. MAX RPM is 5700 with 15 1/4 19P props. Upgrading to 14 5/8 4 blade 21P rev 4 very soon. They have the torque for it.
I want to drop WOT to under 5500 and increase overall mileage.
Good excuse to tinker with something else.Last edited by 225XCL; 12-15-2016 at 10:53 PM.

Curious what powerheads use the same adapter? I know my V4 is just a V6 without the center two cylinders as far as architecture. Curious which others use that same adapter and I could plug one right in.

Hey guys, great news. I`ld like to share with you my latest project.
I design and manufacture from scratch a EFI System for my Yamaha V4 130hp, all the intake system was 3D printed with the machines my company build(www.cliever.com).
It works great, still need some adjustments in electronics software, but I already got +10% in performance.

I'm using a Brazilian system: https://www.lojapandoo.com.br/pulser-plus
Its a very cheap and simple module, just the necessary to pulse the fuel injectors and make a basic control.
