Wasn't even light when I opened the shop doors-----back held up all morning. can stillfeelitbut its just an annoying throb as opposed to a Jesus H.
Finished the second effort cossie ------well, it's finished as far as I'm concerned, been too long in the saddle on that mother!
Dismantled the XC220 Jaguar-------body is a beautiful die cast all metal body-------unlike the much detailed plastic motor.
Never was a V6 jag engined boat that I ever heard of--------there's going to be though! In concept?

Looks like I may have to cobble a V12 motor together somehow----- done a few piccies for you, will try and get Casey,my granddaughter down to take some proper piccies for you------make do with these for now.

Went to the hospital and picked up my new hearing aid, just hope folks stop yelling at me now-------must have made big strides in audiology in the last two years--------this here piece of kit is great ----I can hear the birds fart again-----and my tummy rumbling.
I no longer have to wear cordless headphones to listen to the TV.

Never got back into the shop again today------only going to be in there for three hours in the morning, then we have a houseful for lunch tomorrow ------first time we're in circulation for some time------will be nice to live like civilised folk again.

Ok peeps, it's time to get back to me on site, treat me like normal, Christmas is coming and the goose is getting fat-----I finished the book, time to start another.

For now I bid you all good night-----MYGGWY .J.

What it's like to be "Normal" again-------almost forgotton what it was like, Was reminded to not push too hard or pay the price--------I made up my mind long ago I would never grow old gracefully. Stay active and above all exercise the mind and memory------- if I forget something from long ago or even last week, I don't look it up on google------I think hard until it comes back, mostly it works, but sometimes I find it difficult -----as in the Lembke/Jaguar V12 affair.
Forgetfullness can be hard, so best to try and remember!

Finally got the decals, the stainless for the new mount and vapour trail for the MALIBUSTANG -----been hanging around too long-------time it was relegated to the summer house/store room along with the two COSWORTHS and a pair of Spitfires-------not allowed to clutter up the conservertoire any more.

Kitchen goddess has has asked me to make her a coffee table for the lounge ------measurements are pretty exact-----has to be right, thought about it and decided I could earn a few "Brownie polnts"---------- anyway you don't say NO to a Rotwieller if there's no place to hide?

Got in less than three hours today------it's our delayed 20th wedding anniversary lunch with the original six people who were there to witness the event.
Thought long and hard about the JagV12 race engine------if you can't find one------create one!!!
So was born the "JAX V12"------again, it's a concept which of course is an idea or a notion------means I've got a free hand. Well chuffed with progress so far------it's not everyday you get to see a "V12 ROTORY" -----bet that raises old R/J's eyebrows!

    Jackie,

I have been varnishing & detailing the two model boat you made the 1971 Paris boat & the other I think you said was a 17 Molinari. Other then waiting on engine & boat decals it's basically finished. I did several coats of varnish, made a new wood stand, painted motor cover white as background for the Evinrude Super Strangler decals, put black stripes on the lighter decks & yellow on the darker cowls. I also purchashed propellers on line that were way too big so spent 1/2 of a day cutting them down, thinning them & polishing them. I also added steering wheels & painted the gas filler caps silver. I'm including the Paris boat pictures now & will post the others tomorrow. I've waited to send the check as I'm going to send some extra accessory pieces as I had to buy in multiple quantities.

I'd be glad to finish them for you the shipping however would be prohibitive. On the other hand, if you have some for OFF next year let's talk about it.

Must confess to being a tad disappointed when I dismantled the model Jag---------- but as they say one door closes, another opens. Thought for some time along the usual lines, then a little voice hidden deep down whispered into my brand fire new hearing device------"Practice what you preach Wilson"---------so I thought laterally, what's to do, 12 cylinder three turbo diesel-----maybe a straight sixteen ?. Then it hit me and I actually laughed out loud in the shop, -------- AN ALL SINGING AND DANCING V EIGHT RECIPROCATING ROTORY------never has there ever been such an animal produced--------but is going to right royally piss off one of the all time ROTORY buffs, and everyone else will just think--------poor old sod finally lost his marbles!!!
All proto's have a code name-----so how about----JAX REX V1200 AL-----not going to do progress piccies, you just have to wait 'till I got the whole shebang ready to install (complete with its drive).

No more shop time available until Thursday -----Tomorrow Ivans boy, who is five has his first nativity play, so naturally Jilly wants to be there for it-------we have to leave here just gone nine, it's the only way to miss the traffic---------spend the day with Kate, watch Lucas in the evening, then drive home-------be home before midnight.

The lunch was a great success, my sister Ange and Fish, Jills brother David and wife Sue, and Jills best friend Roma-------we were back to normal, well, almost!
Helter skelter is gathering pace again-----night all, MYGGWY J.

Read the last post and realised I must have gotten all of a tremble just thinking of a dozen stacked rotories------the mind boggles!
V12 is well under at-----did the twelve intakes this morning and fashioned the heads------stood the damn thing up on end in the vice and that silly grin came, -----you know the one ------ear to ear.

if I laid it down and add a Zed leg it's a V12 inboard--------stand it up and twist the exhaust 180 %
Voila-----you got a 12 stack ROTORY -------give you a pre sneak this afternoon Johnno!
