I get it now. You started with the bone stock warranty covered Magnum 2 gear case and ran 89.3 with the 4 blade ET 30. Then, instead of plugging the side water inlet screens on the stock M2 and trying that, you had Mario at IPM nose modify a second M2 case as pictured below and ran a best of 87 (so far) but in higher winds with the TXP 4.

But now that you started how much first hand experience do you have with tuff boats? How much do you have with brp? I'm assuming none lol. As for that world champion comment I really hope your not comparing the would champion Up there to the champions we get our advice and in my case first hand experience with. Cause that is a joke...again all I was saying that there were valid reasons to go white. And lastly you say your dealer makes you wait weeks before they take your warrantyed broken equipment from cause we don't wait 3 hours let alone 3 weeks lol and your a yam I guy downgrading brp? I don't see no huge numbers coming from Yamis on sobs either. It's just a matter of preference. But I guess you know everything just like everyone else lol and you made my point your deff in that 90%. Have fun in Canada with your Yami on a glass lake where it takes zero skill to drive a boat and even less skill to type on a computer your clueless thoughts that again you have zero first hand experience
First hand experience??? I follow Thomas on Instagram. Does that count? I was unaware that we even had any world champions up here... I think Rotharmel and Gryguc did some special things though. I don't use any dealers... My stuff gets fixed in my garage or an out of business radiator shop a few miles north of here. I run in open water with my family... I simply do not trust any motors that are presently in production reliability wise.... Warranty is nothing when you are 30 miles offshore in Georgian bay. I put hours upon hours on the what is likely the second fastest outboard 24 superboat on the planet. I even throttle it myself... I don't know that I am wicked... But I get to the islands before it gets dark.... AAAAnnd. Obviously you are aware of the fact that Georgian bay is consistently glass flat. You are right... I have no clue who you are.... But your name indicates that you are a talented man, so a thinking man can begin to imagine. But you don't know who I am either.... No world championships... But a pretty big deal around these parts!

We do a ton of aluminum welding for the Yamaha builders around here. Heads, engine holders, blocks 2&4 stroke. The last few sets of heads were for old carb and ox66 yamahas flat and domed Pistons. Sure would suck to have a cyl full of water 30 miles off shore.

Then again I must be crazy. I rigged a 1400hour 200 Etec on my tunnel boat tonight it's box stock never been apart.

I'm with you brother I was just looking forward to seeing what the hull would do with a bone stock M2 case. In my mind, when I saw you got 89mph with the M2 case pretty deep, I thought that if you plugged the side inlets and raised the motor 1" you would be in the low 90's with the right prop and no dicking around with warranty worry. That would be it. You would be 90+ with a bud, a rear seat and a full tank of gas. But again, I was looking at it from the warranty coverage first.

ps: you could always give up, sell the Tuff to me, and buy the Super 21 with the 200XS ROS SS that is for sale.

    Greg,
I will go back to the M2 my hopes are that maybe this project can be used as a reference, and maybe when all the elements are in place it will really be a fast 21 with a green motor, or is it white? if it breaks a 100 Ill paint it black what I have found so far as far as height, I dont think the set up will allow me go past the inlets, like I said sunday I raised it another inch or so and the boat got squirrelly, but I will try and raise it again when I actually do the testing...when i raised it I never lost water pressure the inlets will get closed at some point though

You got the most unreliable direct injected engine ever made a 300hpdi to live long enough to get to 77. U need a trophy or something.
