p22....You ran next to me down the ct. river at some very high speeds in 2014, I had 2 aboard. I am content with my boats all around performance as I look for "all around" set-up. Though I have 'no' notch and I am surely a few hundred lbs. heavier, I was running about 18" setback that day and it worked fine in the rough. Balance is the key, prop chose also effects this so I can't wait to see how many Props Dirk ends up trying.

The rough has always been the main play ground here on L.I. because we all know it's unavoidable if you're out for better part of any day. All the highest speed "todo" changes to take top honors is cool but also makes me wonder in the end just... "how much rough water handling was sacrificed to get it that speed ?"

holes filled, painted,(Gelcoat) tommorow polish, and than rigging, maybe by the weekend and Ill try and weigh it tommorow,

same one, its 16" plus 2", now that I look at it, it seems like the Checkmate set back it longer... that boat even has a swim platform, and its going that fast!!! good for him....great job
