Betty Baker has booked,- 14 Spots for tee times, 12 are definite , so only the next two to apply will be actually playing with the Off group.

...you are more than welcome to come aboard and go catching with me anytime Jackie! Good friend hit one of my spots on a local Bayou yesterday and stayed on a school of Trout for over a mile! Said all he had to do was watch the shrimp jumping out of the water as they moved up stream.

Wish list is nearly complete, just have to "go fishin"----- seen trout and fly fishing on TV documentaries and read Hemingway on his big game stuff----been promised a trip this November, let's hope hurricane Godzilla is long gone when I get there and I get to tick another box.
As the poet said-"there is no time to stop and stare"----pull your finger out and just do it.

I know what you are saying, but I would not bet the farm on it just yet. They said the nurses that treated Thomas Duncan were not in danger of being infected, but now two are infected. The link that I posted above has been updated and corrected. Mexico has refused to allow the ship into their ports and the ship is now returning to Galveston Texas. You better believe that there is hysteria on that ship. The CDC failed on this one. This nurse, who is assumed to have come in contact with Thomas Duncan's bodily fluids, should have never been allowed to board a cruise ship. She should be in isolation with all the other that were close to Duncan. If, by chance, this nurse tests positive, everyone on that ship and all the crew will have to be under the microscope.

If there is any chance of Ebola being aboard, those passengers could be in on board for a very long time---------going nowhere!!,
AS AN ASIDE----do cruise liners dump the effluent in the ocean?

Looks like we got hurricane Godzilla? heading our way, should hit West Sussex the early hours of Tuesday -----already been upgraded to category two. No ordinary blow job then?

Parisians are up in arms at the nice new work of art parked outside the Louvre -thousands have protested saying it looks just like a dildo-------now just how would they know that?

See if they got anything new or old at the airfield tomorrow----could be a case of same old sh-t---different day.

    gentlemen------get your rest-----MYGGWY,J.

...it docks right around the corner from the Galveston Yacht Basin where the Bertram is docked and the Fountain hangs in the slings. One good thing about her comeing back to Galveston is that the University of Texas Medical Branch hospital right around the corner from the cruise ship docks has a level 4 contagious disease lab on premises. Hope those folks are safe and she isn't contagious....and she doesn't mess up my fishing.

    As I thought-----just a different day!
Bought a bucket of long screws and a tin of lime wax polish, last of the entrepreneurs huh?

Crazy temperature here for mid October 19/20. And no sign of change. Let's hope I can say the same Wednesday After Godzilla rears it's ugly head.

Took the concept tunnel hull to bits -----it's got around ten coats of wax on it and it still looks like the dogs dinner. Will try and get it to Tavares, if it don't sell I can always get Gary to buy it, he likes to collect my stuff. Talk tonight.

Keep hearing rumours somebody has been trying to get an alternative off shore series running----it does beg the question WHY.?
There are only about 20 Boats participating in the US series anyway, it needs another series like I need a hole in my head. Surprised that nobody did their homework before jumping off'n the cliff.
One race in Sarasota does not make a series.
The world is in conflict with the radical Muslims at the moment, but to most colonials, anyone coming from the Middle East or Africa or of Arabian origin is a Muslim first and foremost, that they dare to upset the status quo in the offshore powerboating fraternity goes beyond the pale and cannot be tolerated.
back in the days of Slo-mo and Miss England, Gar Wood, Seagrave and Campbell, it didn't take a genius to work out that rich people with powerful friends were behind these efforts-----nothing has changed. Take the Americas Cup----starting point today is around the billion mark--- that would make even the wealthiest oil rich Arab sneeze---but the old moneyed colonials just let the children play and sign the cheque which will not even dent the balance.
I'll lay a pound to a pincha there's more old money in the US than there is new money in Qatar and Dubai ----so the Arabs should not get into a pissing contest with the " Colonials"
lets not forget Bill Gates and Steve Jobs ----their not short of the odd shilling or two.

Now, if the Arabs had put up a few mill prize money, a few hundred thou, appearance money, all hotel and travel expenses, they may have gotten somewhere, especially when you look at what a competitive rig costs today, but don't insult the intelligence of the organisers and competitors who run ." THE ONLY SHOW IN TOWN"

Heard Steve Curtis and the Qatar teams been asked not to appear at Key West, shame!!!

That applies to F1Cars, F1 boats and F1camels, from horses to Harrods, the Arabs own them lock stock and Muslim .
When these guys want something----they just go out and get it.
They liked shopping at Harrods------they bought it.
Mahmoud liked horse racing----so he bought it, not much breeding stock that the Arabs don't own along with the best stables in the world.
Not many US citizens could tell you the difference between Syria, Iran and Iraq -----or Qatar and Dubai and Abu Dhabi, but watch out, you may be drawing your wages from them before long.
All it would take is for the people to not use their cars for one week, no oil revenue and they'd be screwed.

Why the hell didn't they talk to the APBA or the UIM or the offshore organisers.?
To run an alternative series in Americas own back yard was well out of order.

Did hear Walt D. had purchased four pennorth of Key west for cruise liner parking purposes, maybe he will offload Disney France to the Arabs----can't see anyone else wanting it, has never made a red cent profit--------it's the only one that has always run at a loss.
Maybe the Arabs could buy another sun and stick it above Paris, that would turn it round, whaddya think,
    Bon continuation pour Le weekend,MYGGWY.J.

OK Rich----on reflection it would have to be------I've only heard one side of the story, maybe you could fill us in as to the reasons for the ban at KEY WEST then.
