It was on the news this AM that Oscar has been working on his new book for several months now. So, not only did he commit the perfect murder, but he is going to become very wealth for doing so. The movie will follow soon...

Looks like the LUNATICS are about to commit another Massacre-----time for Cameron and Obama to stand up and tell them what naughty boys they are-------then take out the toys and nuke the bastards.

They finally took the handcuffs off Obama and Cameron with Egypt and most of the Arab countries coming out against the Isis , bet your sweet bippy they will come up with some excuse for more delays. Iran is no problem , Syria's the stumbling block. Maybe if Scotland leaves the union on Thursday ( which is not going to happen) Cameron can get upset enough to do a bit more than thump the Dias .

Had a good day in my clean and tidy workshop which is no longer clean and tidy. Donned a full face screen and a smock and started carving away with the Arbotech, snot and bread crumbs everywhere, even with both doors open it still looks like Pompeii after the ruption.
Have no idea where I'm going with this one, paddling carefully, just testing the water so to speak, it's a long time since I played Gippetto .
Craigs birthday today, he must be 30 years old, talked with him yesterday, reminded me of the first time he ever swore at me and then ran for his life-----he hid in the coal bunker for two days-----he was 10 and should have known better. That was back in the day when you put kids across your knee and made their arse a rosy pink and then tried to wring the arthritis out of your joints 'cos it was hurting far more than they did.
Sam my youngest was 18 the last time I put her across my knee-----she got up and yelled at me, "you happy now !,,,,It didn't hurt anyway", then stomped off out of the house. Was at that moment I realised it was time to throw in the towel. She was 26 before she left home, so it couldn't have been all bad. Enough of Wilson history time for sleep, MYGGWY.J.

Not a lot of good news this morning----Alex Salmon whining about being "bullied" by everyone who disagrees with his point of view
George Clooney to appear in "DOWNTON" (should I wet my knickers over that bit if excitement ?)
Tucked away in the late news was------"US air strike in Baghdad"-----maybe Uncle Sam just got pissed off enough to get out the fly swat !!
Maybe the RAF will fire up the Tornado's, time for pussyfooting around is long gone, there is no dialogue with Isis ----only the sword.
Apart from that, the weather is set fair for some record September sunshine.

What a stonking day this has turned out to be, 25 degrees and rising. Decided to see an old friend of mine over in Bognor Regis, Jesus wept, was that ever an eye opener. Polish shops and even their own supermarket, not much English spoken in this little corner of England I can tell you.
Anyway, stayed chatting for an hour before battling my way through the League of Nations on the way home-------look out, look out, there's a pollock about, heading for the lane and the last bastion I wonder if things will ever be the same again.
Bognor feckin Regis, it's where old folk go to die, they retire to a bungalow in Worthing, then move down the coast to Bognor to get interred ----good place to stay away from.
Look what Jilly just bought me, for no particular reason, except for the fact I'm lovely and she can't live without me as old Barry Manilow keeps groaning. The real reason is the old reclining couch ---which has seen better days and Jilly is hell bent on taking it to the dump, so I'm being softened up for the lumber punch.

keep your arm off that rad though, you'll get a "truckers elbow"...

Passed by your tent on the way back from the Revival would have stopped but had a couple of "pub uglys" on board........Phill.

'Twas never missing my friend------simply delayed until 17.00 hrs, been over 26 degrees today so was absolutely necessary to sink a couple of large ones. Cheers !!!

Remember I told you I was carving the dingleberries out of the latest piece and I had no idea where I was going with it-------here's a couple of piccies but I still have no idea where I'm taking it-----it's a chunk of Holly, I could have turned a more symmetrical figure on the lathe but that was too easy.
You know me why make it easy when I can make it so bloody difficult without really trying any way there's no way I could turn it and keep the bark on.
Glued all the bits on to the Flash Gordon concept-----one things for sure, it ain't never gonna see stateside --------the cost of shipping would far exceed the auction price, so it's a no brainer.

Last couple of pics of the "Thang" before it gets relegated to the pool shed----the kitchen queen has decided there's no room at the inn for "The Thang".
There has to be thirty lumps of my nonsenses in there----maybe we could get burgled and I could claim a few bob on the house insurance. Just realised it's over thirty years since I last made a claim, that was for my old Rolex Submariner I bought in Lugano in 1968, I lost it whilst off-roading at Bovington, the bastards told me I was "NOT COVERED"-----I still pay house insurance-----who's the dopey Pratt then ? As usual all shagged out, watch the bugs,MYGGWY.J.

Said goodbye to a very dear friend today------has given sterling service for years but fell foul of her who shall be obeyed I, was always very comfortable with him and spent many an hour snoozing and sipping CC7 with him and just occasionally a little bit of "Rumpy--Dumpy".
I was lulled into a false sense of security by the arrival of a STRESSLESS RECLINER AND FOOTSTOOL TWO DAYS AGO.
When I tentitavely asked WHY? ----I was told that due to the nature of my forages into the workshop I had prematurely ruined what was once a white sofa and made it unfit for human consumption and the local "DETECHERIE" ( municipal dump) was to be it's last resting place.
I duly dismantled the said piece and loaded it into and onto the trusty Lexus and with a tear trickling down my cheek despatched it to the aforementioned place of internment .
Moral to this sad tale is-------if you ever get bought a very comfortable easy chair and footstool-----look deeper 'cos you are about to spend a shed load of dosh on some new furniture that you don't really need. Time to cogitate on how I got sucked into this foul deed.
Lots to talk about tomorrow, on how the Scots just missed out on independence (again).
How the generals are saying things like "HYPERTHETICAL" and shuffling feet.
You could get to see the "GEISHA GIRL", got back on track with that there piece.
Car boot sale at Ford airfield----buggered if it's not all happening tomorrow --nighty night, MYGGWY J.

Yes, I was right , two bran fire new state of the art , upmarket and VERY expensive easy chairs (each with it's own built in footstool) arrived special delivery this afternoon------when her indoors gets a bee in her bonnet just stand clear of the fall out.
Did the car boot sale this morning----nothing monumental, just an extension lead (to replace the one the kitchen queen commandeered ) and a B&D orbital sander----£5 the pair.
Finished the "Geisha", Madame has given the seal of approval so it's in the conservatoire (for now).
USA has hit Isis with a total of 160 strikes this month while Cameron fiddles and farts about in the highlands-----Nero was a beginner when it comes to ace fiddler, even the Frogs have said they want to join in------and they never make decisions.
Voting all over, just the counting to be done now, expect it'll be the usual, lots of noise, Sassanach bashing and whusky quaffing, but the Scots are a canny bunch and common sense will prevail, nothing like a referendum to set the pulses racing, but come 7am I expect the status quo to be restored and normal service to be resumed.
Left the camera downstairs, so can't download the Geisha or the easy chairs-----sorry' bout your bad luck, y' all have a good night and MYGGWY.J.

Is that the one MR Robson did in conjunction with Malcolm Tyrell?
Only three people ever sat in that boat---Me-----Seebold and Brett May.
Keith thought I might be over the hill, so to speak, so he asked GG if Seebold would drive the boat at Chasewater -----he did, but could not get a peep more out of her than I did.
Brett May split the ride with me in Parker.

Bill Brown never got anywhere near the project -he was busy with the "Billy Two Rivets" alluminium disaster. He never ran a DFV.

6 am and the results are in and things are back to normal-----55/45 for a lets stay as we are, the pound has galloped ahead, the share prices will go through the roof and I can savour my visit to Inverness with gusto. Told you the Scots were a canny bunch. Alex Salmond was a modern day hitler -----promising the people utopia and an easy life. If he hadn't been so bigoted and had formulated a half decent plan and not gone off half cocked he might have got away with it, so the United Kingdom remains just that (for now).
Will post the piccies lunch time when I have my nap.
Maybe Cameron will settle down and sort out the Isis problem with our true allies and make a decision on something, which would be a change .
    Have a nice day folks.

Got my friends from San Diego staying for a couple of days, picked them up from Gatwick this afternoon, then tonight got into discussions with Johno about the dreaded Wankel so not a lot to thrill you with today.

Unless I can download the new furniture and the Geisha.
There you go, something to be going on with.
Lifes full to overflowing at the moment, but will try and do a post on Saturday . J.

another for the pool room I suppose.
